Yep. I watched LSU start a tuba player. We literally were filling out the team by taking the tall kid from the band.
And people want to criticize wades performance?
The best part about wade was he was objective about himself and the teams performance.
20-21 team never fully reached its potential because they couldn’t defend.
What does he do? He gets a bunch of scrappy junkyard guys who loved basketball and played shut down defense. I think without his firing and without pinson getting injured they make a big run. Miller injury hurt hit pinsons injury was the killer and even when he came back he wasn’t the same guy.

Would not be much of a deal to Woodward/LSU if he had to fire Wade and then Wade gets a show cause that would hurt LSU. No, I think the deal was fire Wade and this goes away.

Emmert and the NCAA look better by "getting rid of the problem and not punishing current players" at LSU.
I seriously doubt they want to be tied up in court with Wade, when he and his lawyers will have ZERO MOTHERFLUCKING PROBLEM bringing up the NCAA's Sgt Shultz routine regarding other school's unpunished infractions, COMPLETE with examples of specific players, and what they got illegally, with ZERO RESPONSE from the hypocritical, weak assed NCAA.

Agree. The loyalist on this site to Wade, who was not the sharpest cheating knife in the drawer, is weird given the one championship and the rest of the up/down.

I have no reason to not believe you, but I would be shocked if Wade didn’t get a show cause. Miller skated because the allegations against him were a general “failure to monitor” his assistants. Wade had some very specific allegations set forth against him.

Ridiculous. We are not those blue bloods in basketball and were being made example of. It was not going to stop and we had to fire WW. Sure, it was fun rooting for basketball for a change but there was just too much risk.

There’s absolutely no way to know what would have happened had SW not fired WW. He did the prudent thing which was to review all available facts and make a decision that was best for LSU, not posters on a message board.
Assuming his termination was not necessary bc he is rumored not to be getting a show cause is a giant leap — and one made out of emotion over premature disenchantment with his replacement, rather than sound reasoning.

Wade got fired right after NOA. Sold the whole Basketball team out going to NCAAT. He already didn't get to coach NCAAT because of Dick-nose and the hunt by - do you want me to name them?
