142I have learned CWW will NOT receive a show cause. He will be coaching college next year, was also told to keep an eye out for some potential SEC openings for him. So Scott fired CWW on the way home from practice over the phone before the NCAA Tournament because he wanted to bring in his own guy. Scott bent the knee to the NCAA when all he had to do was tell them to frick off.
Btw this is not a slight against CMM, yes the team is terrible but I don't think you can judge him till he gets a full offseason and recruiting/transfer portal period. I want CMM to succeed bc that means LSU basketball succeeds. It just sucks that there wasn't a reason to fire CWW and Woodward set LSU basketball back years.

He had done his research and realized unfortunately the best thing to do was to part ways with Wade in order for both LSU and Will Wade to be in better shape.

Probably correct however he could’ve waited till after the tournament. Completely screwed those players like Darius Days.

Because he seems to be doing a hell of a job to me in the coaching department so far.

All you really need is an AD willing to spend money it’s not like SW has dug and found any gems coaching wise. Just throw a boat load of money at proven coaches seems to be his way of doing business and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just seems anyone could do that.

Exactly, Im sure Scott is good with words when talking to coaches but its not like he's going out and finding hidden gems. He's just hiring huge names with a shite ton of money.
