1) Get the pregame "Tiger Stadium" video to sync with the sound. When Hodson, Faulk, etc are speaking, their mouths are off by about 3 seconds from the sound. Like those old Kung Fu movies.
Speed of sound.
Research it.

You'll play a song titled Bitch I'm from La but not another song because the student section says another curse word??

The Band can't play the whole game
As someone who was in the band, I can assure you that the band can - and we used to - play the whole game without the help from "piped in music".

Yes, and coordinate with the band. Our band literally has response cadences for nearly every situation. The crowd remembers how to react and get fired up.
A focus group could solve the issues in a couple hours...It's just so sad how bad it has become.

Here's the problem. The Band can't play the whole game
Why not? When I was in TB, we played before pregame, pregame, between every play in the first half as well as every time out, during half time on the field, between every play in the second half once we were back in our seats, during every time out, then for a good 15 minutes after the game until the stands were clear.
Our chops were built up for that via pre-season camp, where we practiced all day for a week straight. This is not an issue. I promise.

I was at the Florida game this weekend. Their band controls the game and they DO NOT pipe in music it was fantastic and it kept their stadium rocking. Their band is in the corner of their stadium like our band used to and it makes all the difference in the world. It sounded like our stadium used to 6 years ago which is when the piped in noise began.

Let the band be the music. They are great and they are one of the most important things making college football what it is supposed to be.

I would immediately sign a petition to cease ALL piped in music and let the Golden Band from Tigerland play. Let it be what it is - a college football game experience - not a multi-media event. Maybe next they will install tiny hidden fans and spritzers to blow fake breeze and sprinkle fans on cue with the videos, like on Disney rides. And fake smells, like popcorn, to encourage consumption of concessions.
As it is now fans are actually discouraged from participating by the overwhelming volume of the garbage delivered by the PA and designed (or thought by the administration) to be inspiring fan support.
Only one thing could possibly be worse than the present play list - use of the NBA Arena Rock CD, with "We Will Rock You" and Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll part 2".
Lastly, if they need any inspirational song - as I traveled to the USC game in 1979 I first heard The Eagles "Heartache Tonight" - but the NCAA might now allow those lyrics: "Somebody's gonna hurt someone, before the night is through".

The way you stop piped in music is to get a loud speaker outside of F King and Alleva's homes and blast away with same music on Sunday following every game....

Glenn Dorsey said that was his "get in the zone" song before big games that got him pumped up. I'm serious. You would think it would have been something more up tempo. That drum fill is pretty great though...

No. There’s a hell of a lot more to sound than pressing “play. There’s a ton of physics involved with understanding how sound frequencies work in which types can f acoustical settings. Plus, when you get into speakers and sound systems, a background in electrical engineering , or at least an understand of it, helps tremendously.

The gameday experience has sucked balls for the better part of a decade now. Just seems to get incrementally worse each year.

It is played at some point between 6:30 and 7:00 at almost every high school football game. It is widely accepted as a pre game warm up song.

I texted LSU to 69050 and complained about the loudness of piped in music.
What if EVERYONE with a cell phone did this during the game?
