Tiger Stadium sound coordinator: an open plea from Tiger Nation

I think I speak for most LSU fans when I say there is a lot of room for improvement in the area of Tiger Stadium sound.
Rather than make generic complaints that "it sucks" or something similar, let me make some specific recommendations to make it better starting this Saturday vs. Auburn.
1) Get the pregame "Tiger Stadium" video to sync with the sound. When Hodson, Faulk, etc are speaking, their mouths are off by about 3 seconds from the sound. Like those old Kung Fu movies.
2) Start playing "Welcome to the Jungle" a little sooner before the team comes out. This is how you build tension with a pre-entrance song. We seem to start our song right as the team begins to run out of the tunnel. It's too late to have an effect.
3) Cut back on the piped-in music during the game. Be selective. Get rid of the 90's rap and 3rd down song. Nobody likes those. Find some newer stuff that will get the players jacked up. And then let the band play the rest of the time.
You've got a great opportunity to reconnect with the fanbase after the big win at the Swamp. It will be a packed house for Auburn. You might think these suggestions aren't important, but to quote Will Wade, "No detail is too small. Absolutely NO DETAIL is too small."
**ETA: Some have questioned whether it's possible to sync audio and video in a large stadium. Read here, here, and here to see how this can be done. The short answer is delay towers. If Tiger Stadium is not currently outfitted with these, it can be done in the offseason. The other 2 suggestions can be implemented in time for Auburn.
**ETA2: The piped in 3rd down song can be found here. It needs to go. My advice is if there must be a piped-in 3rd down song/beat, have Devin White and the defensive leaders give you their top 3 choices, figure out which of the three is the most general audience friendly, find a clean version of it, and play that.

It'll never be ready in time.
I think LSU refuses to learn from other schools around the conference and country. Especially when it comes to stadium experience.

4) No more Phil Collins music. In the Air Tonight is not a hype song.

I go to other stadiums and they don't have that problem. One of my best buddies is a sound engineer and explained to me how they could fix it. It can be done.

Here's the problem. The Band can't play the whole game and with 50k people there is starts to get a little cavernous and quiet. They need to play something.

You're going to be disappointed.
With the sound too.

If they burn every known copy and version, including vinyl, cassette, CD, and digital of that "I'm from Loueeeeeezzeaana" abortion we'd have made a good start.

The point is not which song they play, it's that they start it too late. I think they could pick a better song too.

During the home games this year I started noticing how the piped in music was actually shutting down the cheering. This was very noticeable during the Syracuse game.
The stadium managers refuse to get the message.

That entrance is amazing. LSU could easily have something similar with a little work. I got chills when the song kicked in.

The third down song is so terrible

Which third down song? I dig the drum line one on defense

Since we're on this subject. If they are going to play calling Baton Rouge during pregame, do it earlier. Doing it right around the time the team huddles before heading to the locker room and run towards the student section does not match the situation. Go back to that "We Ready" song if needed.
Also "Bitch, I'm from Louisiana" needs to go. It already sounds retarded, especially being half the team is not from Louisiana, but being it's also the radio edited version, it makes it sound even more retarded.
Also it goes without saying, stop being a pussy in regards to the student chants with band songs. Bring back all band songs and let the band play a lot more.
