You know that sound travels slower than light correct? It sounds off because you're not sitting right next to the speakers. Kind of like when you're sitting in the outfield at a baseball game and it takes a second before you hear the sound of a baseball being hit after the bat is swung.

Stadium experience and tailgating has been dying for 6-7 years now. I'm thinking LSU must give all these responsibilities to student workers and thus at times looks sloppy.
There is no way LSU has several full time positions for gameday experience and they continue to destroy it each season.

I'm sure ill get down voted to hell and back, but as far as that goes moo state does a pretty good job in their stadium even though they suck most of the time. been to several games there and its always pretty hype. I'm sure the bells add to it, but still

It is because of the distance. It's a simple procedure to fix that's been used for large outdoor concerts since the late 60's.

As a way too long member of tiger band...I will say having to wait through all the ads and what not...there have been multiple times where we were about to play and then there was an announcement or an ad, or they just started playing music so we just sit back down. It has been bad in years past but it’s significantly worse this year...I really enjoy playing, if I wanted to sit in the stands and not play I could do that in the student section.

They actually do have a coordinator who is responsible for this shitshow. IIRC he was fired from Arkansas. Another stellar Joe Alleva hire.
