I really enjoy playing, if I wanted to sit in the stands and not play I could do that in the student section.
No PIM at all.
Still want to know who had the original thought for this PIM nonsense...............

The rant needs to find out who is in charge of the piped in music
Posted on 10/10/17 at 7:51 am to RidiculousHype
Whatever that piped in rap shite is they play right before the kickoff is quite possibly the most annoying sound I've ever heard. And I like rap. That shite needs to die.

They put all their eggs in one basket with Callin' Baton Rouge.

Does anyone have Alleva's email?

Yes! I took my 73 year old father to the game, and the horrible rap music was blaring. He was miserable. I was too.

Hey Tiger Sound people look how many upvotes this post has compared to downvotes. There is a pretty simple conclusion here; people want change!!! Listen up!!
I know gameday experience student workers are not the same full time LSU marketing people who were in charge of Toonces who thought the fans loved it for years because LSU merchandise was selling at an all time high. But that kind of thinking is all over LSU and simply out of touch with its fans.

Not a fan of the song but at least its Louisiana themed. Should really only have CAllin Baton Rouge, Lousiana Saturday night and Eye of the Tiger as the only vocal songs played. Drum beats are ok at times but should be limited. Let the Stadium take on its own atmosphere.

How about getting rid of all piped in music.

Can't remember when I went to the Alabama game last year, but does the band still play Livin on a Prayer? I hated that shite as a student. It's a terrible football song. Downvote all you want. You know I'm right.

Meh. The students get into it. And apparently they haven;t figured out a way to sing anything like STTDB into.

Was at the TCU game this weekend and was very impressed with their use of music fitting to the game. Rather than just blaring out some songs, they do things that actually "fit" with situations during the game. For example when a review was going on, they would show the play on video screen and play "tell me something good". Things like the beep of a truck backing up while the other team was being penalized.
For those of us that miss getting to react with TGBFTL during the game, a little bit of creativity could help mix the atmosphere with the game rather than feel like your walking in a hip hop bar during every timeout

Exactly these people don't know and don't care what the actual fans that are paying their salries want
How freaking hard would it be to send out surveys and for Joe Alleva to have some Q&A sessions with Alumni Associations around the state?

1) Get the pregame "Tiger Stadium" video to sync with the sound. When Hodson, Faulk, etc are speaking, their mouths are off by about 3 seconds from the sound. Like those old Kung Fu movies.
I don't think you understand Physics... Light (what you see) travels a whole lot faster than sound!

I get one every year. Every year I blast that piped in shite for ruining the greatest atmosphere in college football. Apparently falls on deaf ears.
