Imagine the price of making it a nonconference game

Ticket prices are wild.

The game next weekend with all the buzz and game day and trash talk which will only intensify this week, I anticipate to set every single Ole Miss record in history.

Hotels are like $1200+ a night

Yeah it is unreal.

I have 4 tickets on the 40 and decided to stay in New Albany MS ( 25 miles away) it was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper.

No shot I’m paying 1200 a night in Oxford

That's largely a function of it being a nowhere town with almost no hotel capacity.

Lake Sardis has RV camping. It would be cheaper to rent an RV. Geez.

Oh for sure.

Reminds me of Auburn in size and infrastructure.

Even Airbnb prices were completely ridiculous.

I’m curious about the ticket market on campus day of game.

I have 2 people that may bail so I might be stuck with two tickets

So for 2 people from BR to go to the game...

$100 gas
$1200 hotel
$1000 game
$150 food

So $2,450 at least

frick it, im going to perdido for a week, and won't have to worry about getting in a fight with a rabid Ole Miss fan

I am going to the Saints game in Paris.
I am not staying at the Ritz but I could stay there for the same price as a hotel in Oxford.

The laws of supply and demand usually put me in Granada, Mississippi when I go to the Ole Miss game, although I am not going to this one.

It's their big 7 or so weekends for the year .. plus a couple of weekends for big baseball series I guess.

And homeowners who don't live there but have rentals count on those 7 games or so to pay their house note for the year.

The tickets are actually listed for $350 or so.

The rest is fricking fees seat geek or Stubhub tack on. THAT should be illegal.
