That conversation pretty much had the tone of Lane was going to be at LSU and the right thing for Ole Miss to do is let him coach the remainder of the year. Saban and Kirk were pretty much on the same page.

Tulane plays Charlotte tomorrow night, so in a world where Kiffin leaves Ole Miss, if there's no leak about Florida by game time in New Orleans, that would be a good news for Ole Miss. Of course, again, that's IF Kiffin makes a move and it becomes very public. Timing will be very tight. As for Kiffin's decision, I've heard it's expected in the morning, and while I've heard specific times, I'm not sure I completely buy that. We will be ready in the morning, one way or the other. I don't expect news this evening. I'm shutting it down.
