LSU is clearly a bubble team with an outside shot at it.

In that scenario, every "eye test" counts and counts big.

Nobody will remember the score in 1 week. It wasn’t the best decision but it’s being amplified by stupidity like this

The Florida loss is what cost LSU a chance at the playoffs.

. Stopped right here. This was assured after BAMA ran over, around and through them. The UF loss was about on par for a shitty coaching staff.

Emm, why pile on Brosette? His OL wasn't doing him any favors last night, and there have been some bad plays all year from that side of the ball.

Don't pile all that on a single player. We should have never been in a position to "need" a single TD against a 2-7 team if we were truly a CFP caliber team.

I don’t see why this is such a big deal, other than the fact people on here need something to bitch about.

With that said, if the playoff committee are truly using the “eye test” then they will have watched the game, and will know that Brossette could have easily scored.

It was so stupid the second time. This wasn’t Aaron Rogers down by 1 score. It was Arky down by 14 with no timeouts.

We might get the nod over OU precisely because of that.

Who cares. I’d almost prefer the sugar bowl over making the playoff and getting our arse handed to us by bama for the 9th time in a row.

So Oklahoma is out? At this point how many points you score is not a factor plus no team can beat Alabama so making it to playoff is useless.

If Brosette did that on his own, which it appears he did, then it was a dumb decision. You either take the victory formation or you run the play to score. But you don’t slide and risk a fumble.

Sounds like a few folks were at the Silver Slipper before the game. Anyone betting on our inept offense deserves to lose money...a fool and his money...

The offense the last 2 weeks cost LSU any shot long before Brosette slide.

On the bright side, that would make the, "Louisiana St8" moniker go away.

Yep. This OL has no business being in the playoff. Bama would likely blank us yet again except probably score more since we have no home field advantage.

He didn't and if he did he saved us from catching the 9th in a row a year early.

They’d find a way to incorporate the number 9 somehow. Idk how but where there’s a will there’s a way.
