Thats not a fact, its you assuming O told him that. If it was to pass an eye test, any eyes the committee put on the game would negate them worrying about brossette’s decision

You're not very smart are you ? If you watched after the game in the interview of Brossette, he said he was told by O to run out the clock, which is what he did. Very unselfish !

The odd thing, though, was Brossette’s slide set LSU up to kneel the clock out, hence why everyone was crediting him being smart.

LSU ran another play at the 1-yard line, though.

“I told Steve to run it, thought we could get us a score," Orgeron said.

Of all things to be mad at

You’re mad at the RB for the stupidest, far reaching reason

LSU isn’t going to the playoffs anyway.

OU ahead of us and if they lose to wvu then they’ll jump us.

I’m just wondering why a player can never get the blame? Anyone? Do players never make mistakes?

I know it’s not “cool” to blame players, but damn....have we as a society, become so SOFT, where we as individuals can never be blamed for anything?

This is bullshite...

Brosette made a dumb play. But it didn't effect the outcome of the game at all. The point I made is that it's unfair to think Brosette singularly kept LSU from the CFP last night when other players have contributed to that all year.

As a team, LSU should not have been on the ropes against a 2-7 Arkansas team, but there we were. There is plenty of blame to go around, but don't just pile it on Brosette.

You really think a 2-loss team that didn't win its division and isn't named Alabama has a chance?

There's always lots of what ifs, and certainly the FL L is the biggest issue.

So why start a thread to trash A player??????

And again what does his play have anything to do with the CFP????

You are being really stupid right now.....

When you have no margin for error, you have no margin for error.

While FL L is the biggest problem, the fact it's still possible DESPITE that is the issue.

A two-loss LSU that got dominated by Alabama at home wasn't getting into the CFP without the most bizarre of circumstances, anyway. If we did get in, as much as it hurts me to say it, we'd just get steamrolled by Alabama again in the semi-final game, so I will be happy if LSU gets the Sugar Bowl or Fiesta Bowl. That would be a nice building block for next season.

Can't argue much there.

For my money, if you're a competitor, I think you want the chance at it all, even against huge odds.

LSU is clearly a bubble team with an outside shot at it.

After last night, we have no shot at the CFP, nor should we. This team would get embarrassed by whatever opponent they draw. The talk of getting into the CFP needs to die NOW.

I think so too. I'd be happy with a NY6 bowl and 10 wins. I don't know if we beat A&M though.

Winning by 30 wouldn't have gotten LSU into the CFP.

Enjoy the remaining games.
