Oh, and also shrimp man has the best kicker in the country standing on the sidelines with 9 minutes left ready to make it a 3 score game to ice this ffer, and he turns the ball over on downs to almost allow arky to come back and win

I couldn't believe he didn't try the FG to possibly go up 27-10 at that point. To me, that was the obvious call, especially with it being a road game.

Prolly better point the finger in another direction far before you blame Brosette. The game should have never came down to that play. Against a 2-7 arky team, LSU should have been playing backups at that point in the game. The fact is, this offense as a whole isn’t good enough to be a playoff team.

Playoff ? This Offense ? No way .

If LSU takes the FG and TD, winning 34-17, are you still dogging the offense?

What I do know is A&M gave a very respectable effort against both Alabama and Clemson, and this game will be at College Station. And with our O-line issues, particularly in pass blocking, all that is enough to make me very nervous about the A&M game. Pass blocking problems on the road in a very loud environment is a recipe for disaster.

The CFP committe gives a big boost to teams that win their conference. No team has won their conference championship yet. When they do, they will fly by LSU and it has nothing to do with Nick Brossette sliding so that LSU could take a knee and end the game.

This team has won more games than I expected and I am happy with the season. We have no business in the playoffs over Bama, Clemson, ND, or Michigan, those teams are clearly better at the moment.

If, by some miracle, LSU’s path to the CFP does come down to the score of their win over Arkansas - which it never will; don’t you dare blame this shite on Nick Broussette sliding at the 5-yd line rather than scoring with 30 seconds left.

Blame it on the offense that only put 24 points on the board thru the previous 59 1/2 minutes.

Sliding was the smart thing to do at that point. If you wanted more points to pass the eye test, you should have called plays accordingly earlier in the game. Like the 4th & 1 when everyone in the county including my 8 yr old niece knew they would run the RPO and hand it off.

What about sliding at the 1 in direct defiance of the head coaches call?

Even if Bama lost to UGA, they'd NEVER jump LSU over them for a final spot in the CFP......you don't have to be
a 'Rocket Scientist' (Hmm...maybe you are?) to figure that out.
So last night, it really made no difference, sorry to say......

Brosette possibly costing his teamates a CFP opportunity

I disagree with your premise.
1) I think NB made the right call with the first slide.
2) TD or no TD won't make any difference in our chances at a CFP spot.

If you want to call out a player, the unsportsmanlike from standing over (was that Vincent?) on one of the 2 previous Ark drives did actually lower the (admittedly very slim) probability of a CFP spot.

LSU is clearly a bubble team with an outside shot at it.

In that scenario, every "eye test" counts and counts big.

Best chance was to come in as the 4th seed. Which means another round with Bama. Do you really want to see that?
