This was all planned out weeks ago.. We all thought Longstreet was #2

Then out of the blue Clark appears..
He has gradually been working the past few games with the starters while #10 is trying to heal up.
Remember that depth chart at the beginning of the season and all during summer workouts. Nobody talked about Clark

In all the practice videos I watched, I always saw Clark next to Leavitt and never saw much of Longstreet...

Yeah they planned for Leavitt's throwing shoulder to get sore and to keep him out of a practice on the Wednesday before maybe the biggest game of the year

Longstreet is much more raw than the other two and needs work on mechanics and getting experience.
I think he was always planned to be #2 (if we only got one of the others) or #3 (assuming we got all 3).
Time will tell, but people forget that while he was a Division 2 player, Clark still has 3 years of playing experience before coming to LSU.

No coach is going to go through all of that artifice and subterfuge so they can start a kid from Elon.
A coach might, however, do it for his son.
Did y'all actually believe that smoke about how Knox doesn't want to play for his dad? What if I told you Knox has attended every LSU practice, worked the LSU offense in VR like Daniels, and reclassified last week?
All of the litigation about Harris and Wright was merely a distraction for the SEC and NCAA while LSU worked behind the scenes to get Knox eligible.
Who knows the DNA of Kiffin's offense better than his own DNA?
