That performance had to be effort, no?

I find it comical that people jump on certain players and label as the problem.
Bordelon seems to be the whipping boy this week.
I saw no negative reviews on him last week.
There’s a group of posters here that assume bc a guy isnt a 4 ora 5 star he’s the weak link.
This guy is a 5th year player and the thought process for many tards here is that he’s in the game bc of sort of seniority … as if he’s not best for the job or actually earned his spot in camp. Who’d thought that?????
Who knew we had so many fans that watch Oline exclusively ((((esp after two games))))) to point fingers.

I agree that the OL is the weakest part of the team but I disagree that red zone play calling is not an issue also. On two possessions where LSU had to settle for chip shot FGs, the plays were basically the same. I believe in the last failure, it was 2 runs behind LG and then Leavitt rolling out to the right and getting sacked. The previous failure was similar and also on 3rd down Leavitt rolled to the right and got sacked. I was wanting them to try pitches or runs around the end more (jet sweeps included) because Tech was basically selling out in the middle of the line. Also, a misdirection play should have been tried. I don't remember one single draw play or one single screen pass.

Unfortunately this is true again at least right now. Hope they can get coached up and play better, but we will need better O Line play going forward

People always want to shite on the offensive line. In 2019 we had the best line in the nation and. to this day people disparage that great line full of NFL players.
That OL was good, not great. Burrow's ability to avoid rusher and CEH's ability to make defenders miss in very tight spaces masked a lot of deficiencies.
But if you don't want to take a TD poster's POV, then take Kiffin's:
After last week's game when dicussing the OL
quote:
"I think we can do some things better in there. We got beat a few times on a few things," "When you have a really elusive quarterback and a good running back, that makes up for some things.
After last night's game

How do you assess your offensive line play tonight?
“Not real good, five sacks, a lot of negative plays,
The OL is not playing well right now. Particularly the guards

Lester, youre opinion is yours. Look at the film. We get to the short ydg situations, and run sprint back draw handoffs to a STATIONARY rb, 5 yds deep.
Its moronic and absolutely helps the less powerful, quicker dl.
If you are LSU, an SEC power, and you cant line up and pound out 1 or 2 yd runs on ANY school, much less a smaller college, then exactly wTF is your identity?
Do whatever is needed...hell, put geralds at blocking back, but show a backbone and go between the tackles.
That will open up the cute little pass bullshite they like to try to accomplish.
On top of that, this qb has NOT shown the accuracy and decision-making needed to only rely on him fully in the redzone.
J Lee ghosts appear with that back foot throwing bullshite.
