who is responsible for catcher development and why aren’t we seeing any progression or improvement in catcher development? What percentage of wild pitches is related to poor blocking form by the catchers?

Why isn’t the outfield throwing between innings?

Correct, it’s to point out one of the obvious flaws of this team.

anyone who follows the team knows who coaches the catchers. No reason to ask

It's more about pitch selection than it is the catchers not blocking pitches. Most of the wild pitches are on called sliders. We need to throw more high fast balls and hope they hit it. It's a Yeskie pitch selection as well. This is straight from Todd Walkers mouth.

Get off the lazy knee and into an athletic position, that can eliminate a lot of the issues. Don’t try to glove every bll

They are called wild pitches instead of passed balls for a reason

Serna has gotten better. His last game had only one wild pitch I think. Arrambide needs to change positions.

They don't throw it around after a K either. Probably scared they make an error

Where I may agree some of the pitch selection should be better, I'm not agreeing that is the problem with passed balls and/or wild pitches. Blocking bad pitches is an effort and pride thing.

Dumb reply. While technically true anyone who knows anything about sport knows the head coach is responsible for all things within the program.

Why would the reporters ask this when they already know the answer? It's Josh Jordan and it's not really some highly guarded secret.
