I am in the Lane train but I just see maybe a 9-3 season next year even if we do well in the portal. Year 2 maybe we can start becoming a relevant program again.
No one finds you funny. You probably had no friends in high school. The Lane jokes are already getting old

It's bc he was a 5 star coming out of high school
That's the problem with South Carolina. I listened to one of their podcasts when discussing LSU getting their DL coach and their concern Stewart may go to LSU. They made it very clear South Carolina is not all in on paying top dollar for an entire roster as well as total caches salaries. They made it very clear that South Carolina will pay big for 2 guys (Sellers and Stewart) to create the illusion that they want to win. The overall amount of money spent is not at a level that will compete for championships.
Both defenses are really good. Ags have more proven offensive difference makers and Reed's legs will likely be the difference in the game
Most LSU fans know Wilson is a great recruiter and a great guy but the development of Rab's under his watch has been very underwhelming. I wish him well but any LSU fan who pays attention to college football knows Kevin Smith is a great recruiter and most importantly a great developer at the RB position. Those upset Frank is gone it's bc of his relationships in Nola.
You do realize Archie and Olivia are from Mississippi. Why would they ever like LSU. Who cares if they hate Lane.

Cignetti had proven that's it's not all about talent composite from an ON3 rankings site but rather excellence scouting to fit scheme and a damn good coach who much like Saban hunts out any player that lets their guard down and becomes complacent. Cignetti and Kirby are in a tier of their own. They are both psycho in good way and the players respect them both. I realize we can laugh at IU's schedule but the eye test doesn't fail me. They are legit and better than any team in the field. I am not saying they will win it all but it wouldn't surprise me

I lived in CCC in the 70's and it was heaven. It's already seeing a resurgence.

Covington has the best downtown in the state and no the bridge over the Bogue Falaya River is not finished yet. Moving back in June and building about 2 miles down Lee RD. Moving from Prairieville back home
As an LSU fan, I 100% agree with everything that you said. I'm glad he's our coach but that's a very fair way of looking at it.
It feels great to be viewed as the villain as an LSU fan. Kiffin would have been on Gameday but he was able to help get our DC to stay and had to finalize the contract. I know there will always be those that will trash him and I get it but you don't understand how good LSU fans feel right now bc Kiffin has done more in 1 week that Brian Kelly did in 4 years. A motivated and enthused LSU is bad news for the rest of college football. This is different
I believe I read where that kid may be going to Virginia Tech
So he is from Hazlehurst but moved to Ridgeland?
Very classy post. Both LSU and Florida are great programs. I think Sumrall will bring physicality and will be better than Napier. Just not many can't miss candidates this year in the coaching carousel. When we look back in a few years Florida could have the best hire. The beauty in all this is that no one never knows so sit back and let your guy do his thing. The good news is it's a new start bc that's how feel as an LSU fan. LSU has had some of the best offenses and best defenses wasted over the last 5 years and this program deserves better. No guarantee LK will pan out but at least he will bring much needed energy
I actually like Chuck Oliver and I am surprised he said this. His entire show is just college football
BOS meeting at 9 to discuss Kelly buyout not an announcement on Lane. Be patient. Lane is meeting with Miss AD and we will get a gist of how that went at some point today. Hold the line boys!
