In this day and age, there’s no way that kind of thing can go unnoticed. Kid has to be on campus. Not in a boot vs. in a boot. Not on crutches vs. in crutches. He doesn’t live isolated from the world and in this age of betting, word travels very fast.

It’s not unreasonable that he didn’t hurt his ACL but has another injury and that’s worrisome
He needs every preseason rep to get the timing down with the new OL and WR. We need him 100% for Clemson
I still think Florida is hiding something about Lagway

That is why I made the post yesterday about him just watching and preparing for the Clemson game. If he isn't 100% we don't win the Clemson game.
At this theory.. Why don’t we just let all of the starters sit and watch for another month just to be safe?

I’m sorry but BK can’t run a tight enough org to stop Vegas from figuring it out.
Vegas spends countless dollars making sure they have the scoop so they can set lines and make money.
The line moved by 1 point yesterday which lends to it being retail bet driven from the rumor.
I just feel if it was worse, Vegas would have changed the line to -6.5 or much more.

In the last CBK media session, CBK said they scrimmage on Saturday's. If Nuss is hurt, it will be kept secret till game day. But every year before the opener CBK always has injuries before game 1. I see a trend here. I hope Nuss is ok, if not, then LSU is in a world of hurt going to Clemson. Although, Michael Van Buren gives them a dual threat QB and completely changes the Clemson game plan. I would have some plays for him in every game just to keep defenses off balance.

It is lot a disaster if LSU doesn’t beat Clemson
It is a disaster if Nuss if hurt

Tomorrow's practice is open to the media and BK will have another presser to answer questions afterwards.
If Nuss is hampered in any way it will be painfully obvious to our media cohort.
In other words... i imagine we'll get more info tomorrow.

These elite athletes generally heal fast if it’s not a broken bone or severely pulled muscle or ligament He likely is ok if they say he is ok. Practices time could be an issue but he is a seasoned qb that likely would play well even if his practice time was reduced significantly. Probably would cause backups to take a more serious interest in practice and state of readiness. Sky isn’t falling.

And it’s just as idiotic today as it was yesterday.
He can’t prepare for Clemson just by “watching” practice.
If he hurt enough that he can’t get reps with the team then he’s hurt to the point that he can’t play. And we are screwed.
Missing a couple days of practice is one thing but suggesting that he doesn’t practice at all then plays week 1 is just dumb.

Shoot I bet Kelly is super concerned who is leaking information like this to the public .. I would imagine a pissed off press conference soon from Kelly

Starts at the 2:30 mark and they talk about it quite a bit.
Nothing in that conversation suggested there was even an "injury." They don't know any more than us, they're filling time on a podcast (and, not for nothing, the notion that LSU reached out to a "message board" to have a post taken down is preposterous, and makes me question his knowledge and judgment).
Until further notice, I think everyone can assume the situation is benign enough that Nuss won't miss a minute of play time. Everything else is people filling in the gaps with their own story.

Remember, we didn't officially learn until after he was drafted that Quinn Ewers was injured all of last season in a way much worse than they had let on, and it certainly affected his play even after he came back. Texas underperformed. We could be looking at the same thing here, given the crickets from the team officially.

Doesn't really work that way, bud.

Vegas would have taken the bet off the board completely if it were widely known Nuss tore his ACL.
Probably opened back up next week around 10

Y'all really are the worst and shame on the Tigerbait guys for keeping this rumor mill going. Pretty much every beat writer/national guy that has chimed in on this story has said it's a non story and Nuss is fine but sure, go ahead Tigerbait guys. Let's reignite a story that was dead and killed, one which started on a rumor anyway, to generate clicks. Those guys did nothing but throw out hypothetical worst case scenarios and of course, the melters just lapped it up like a dog in the sun.

“He’s ok” could still mean he was injured. Not that difficult to understand
