There is a stark difference in how we look the last 2 weeks versus the rest of the year. We are not getting better, and we just lost a game in which our bats put up 13 runs.

Yeah it’s awesome to have the best pitcher in college baseball that would be in an MLB rotation right now and then everyone else sucks. I’d take getting swept one weekend and have at least 3 or 4 reliable guys. We have one. And he’s why we haven’t been swept.

That’s wonderful and all, but this team would be elite with just a few decent bullpen arms. We don’t have it. It’s going to be an all out grind from this point forward.

I’m as high on this team as anyone you’ll find and have realistic baseball expectations.
That said, they are skidding at the wrong time and the bullpen is getting worse at a time that they need to be stepping up.

Dude, we just lost 2 straight SEC series and are getting worse each week heading into the last weekend of the regular season and you are acting like everything is fine

All true. Now the question is - is this a funk or swoon and the Tigers will return to form or was the first 3/4 of the season fluke after fluke after fluke and Johnson doesn’t know how to coach and put talent is terrible.
I’m betting it’s a swoon and we will be back better than ever. I know a lot of negatigers are vested in us just sucking and I guess we will see.
