To quote Yoda, fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hatred, hatred leads to suffering.

SEC teams have rounded the corner of anger and are at hatred.

Exactly, Pawl knows which side his bread is buttered on. He also knows Kiffin is a lightning rod, so he’s gonna use that in every story to try to drum up ratings and get clicks and likes. It’s all a bunch of media bullshite, don’t buy into it.

He just said this again on the show. If there was a vote today all 15 presidents would vote to remove LSU from the SEC.

No they wouldn’t and I would love it of LSU called their bluff and demanded an immediate vote.

Kick us out or STFU

If LSU boatraces the SEC this year they'll look pretty stupid trying to kick us out.

The SEC won't even exist for CFB in 5 years. Who cares. We'll have players unions and a super league by then. Their days are numbered.

You basically have Ole Miss operating out of spite and the others operating out of fear. LSU has followed all conference rules and is letting this play out in the courts. As another poster said, either hold the vote now or shut the frick up and let us carry the banner for the conference this season.

ETA: it’s pretty evident Kiffin and LSU are going to be the main characters of the sport this season. The SEC needs to take a step back and consider if they are willing to risk further harm to the relationship between us. Best for all parties to end this foolishness and work together.

I’d love to see what the media contract with ABC/ESPN/Disney says about teams leaving voluntarily and getting expelled. The contract will definitely cover these contingencies and probably reduces the contract payments to the conference and schools if someone leaves or gets kicked out. LSU leaving wouldn’t void the contract (I imagine that requires multiple high level departures), but it would put a big dent in the brand and revenue for the remaining members.

At the end of the day, this is a big money business. Expelling a founding member, especially one that has LSU’s level of name recognition, is bad business. Same would be true for just about any other member. Paul can fill up as much airtime as he needs to keep selling ad space, but no one is getting kicked out.

Anybody that watched the Clemson broadcast should laugh at this whole idea. LSU IS the SEC.

LSU arguably famous. If so there’s a higher standard and harder road in defamation. Antitrust idk but unfair trade practices yes. Sure like LSU’s side of this though.

It’s just talking points for them. LSU put it to bed by not rostering them.

They gave Kiffin an ultimatum deadline to leave immediately if he was going to LSU. Otherwise, he could have waited to bolt after the playoffs.
North Central Mississippi Junior College at Oxford would be the defending National Champions of College Football if dumb arse Keith Carter would have allowed Kiffin to stay for the CFP.

That happening at NCMJC@O is a very rare occurrence that doesn't manifest very often.

They blew it because of their wretched excess BUTTHURT!

However, it was enough to keep us from rostering them on week one. Smart I think, now they will have to move forward with only a false accusation. They know if they drop the case now that won't hold. So look for that threat to remain until motions are filed.

I’m not an attorney, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. But if my attorney friends are correct, you can’t file a lawsuit in Federal Court and then walk back in there 2 weeks later with “my bad, sorry, I take it all back”. It just doesn’t work that way. I think we all know how amused a Federal judge will be if he/she thinks their court is being “used”.

It's bad for the SEC if LSU starts dominating the Conference because so much media cred is invested in Georgia, Bama and Ole Miss.

LSU is threatening to upset the apple cart.
