I don't disagree with that. And that makes the likelihood that they get exposed for doing that very thing pretty high.

When motions for discovery and dismissals are filed, they will have a legitimate opportunity to get out of it. The court will probably be friendly there.

LSU is on the verge of being the hottest thing going in college football. The SEC will probably be getting a call from Disney very soon to get in line

Yep. When the mouse roars, the chickens fall in line.

I've never once listened to the Finebaum show and yet he gets posted on here all the time. It's like admitting you listen to the View or need to respond to their Dim opinions.

Fwiw Paul's last comments of the evening were about the sport in general, but you can connect the dots:

A high up person at Bama said they are out of money and can not keep up with "texas tech, texas or even lsu"

So.. in my opinion, this is what this is about. They dont want LSU getting a cut of the SEC money because of the NIL issues. Its neutralizing a threat.

Stop watching Finebaum and more importantly stop watch ESPN. Why do you torture yourself?

Yep. Ole Miss is behind it as well because we punked them very publicly. Texas would like a conference with LESS competition like they had in the Big 12. It’s coming from every angle.

When NIL became live and Saban retired that was all you needed to know about how much money Bama really has when you can openly bid for players.

And whether it’s LSU or another program, they’ve already started their decline. Until there’s a hard salary cap (even NIL) Bama will quickly become Nebraska light. They’ll compete maybe once or twice a decade for a playoff spot.

I'm no lawyer nor do I play one on TV, but I think LSU would have a good basis for a collusion and defamation suit against the SEC.

Hell, I play one on the intranets. I would think the other SEC schools better be squeaky clean regarding calling, texting, or emailing the 400 plus athletes that are in the lawsuit. Discovery gonna be a beotch.

Sankey probably asked if anyone had contact with any athletes in question, and they all said no. Now, I bet a few don’t want to answer that under oath.

It’s something to talk about to draw in viewers to ESPN. Nothing more and nothing less. Calm down and enjoy the ride on the Lane Train bro!
