Rat poisonbaum himself cant help saying it on his show.
"I dont want to say too much, but the things I said the other day (before rosters were turned in) is still operational. The league and LSUs relationship... this is still Defcon 2"
Im telling yall this isnt going to go away because it had nothing to do with these "NFL" players and they are still trying to punish Kiffin.
Someone or someone's in the SEC is instigating this crap.
At the end of the day, LSU hasnt done anything wrong.

LSU is on the verge of being the hottest thing going in college football. The SEC will probably be getting a call from Disney very soon to get in line

I would want to kick LSU out of the SEC as well after what they did to Clemson. It was a pantsing of epic proportions.
They aren’t scared of Ole Miss. That’s why no one is saying anything about them playing an ineligible player. They aren’t scared of A&M. There are doubts if even Bama is scary anymore. Texas and Georgia understand it’s bad for business if the sleeping giant wakes up

AG is entering the fight in AL.
SEC case is weak, at best. And now they opened up the collusion antitrust issue big time.

Im not worried about Paul. Im worried that hes actually being honest about what hes saying because it makes sense.
LSU has gone all in on winning. They got the highest rated head coach there is. They are out recruiting.
Im genuinely concerned that these dudes are like "hell with em, just kick em out"
I truly think thats what they are gonna try to do. They are going to punish Kiffin in some petty way to try and get LSU to over react and justify kicking them out.

Relax. They tried to turn sports into a 24 hours media cycle. Now, college football alone is a 24 hour media cycle.
It’s all sensationalist BS to stir up ratings.

SEC is t doing anything to lower the temperature

"Finebaum has a job to do"
- Lane Kiffin, literally today
Stuff like this generates viewership. The SEC knows that LSU is a cash cow and is going to kill it in ratings, exponentially so with Kiffin driving hate watching. The SEC isn't booting out LSU.

Trying to sell clicks and engagement bro. The sec isn’t going to put out a statement and apologize and say our bad no matter what happens.

We exposed Sankey for the lazy moron he is. He’s going to try to throw us under the bus to save his own arse.

They are still pissed by the way Kiffin left for LSU before season/payoffs over. If I’m not mistaken the timing of that was on Ole Miss. They gave Kiffin an ultimatum deadline to leave immediately if he was going to LSU. Otherwise, he could have waited to bolt after the playoffs.

The SEC is NOT looking to eject LSU if for no other reason ABC/ESPN/Disney doesn't want them to. Losing LSU would damage the SEC's media value just like losing UGA or Bama or Texas would.
Posted on 9/7/26 at 2:57 pm to Ebridg3
They would punish them for doing nothing wrong. On top of that after this weekend LSU is bringing the most attention to the conference for performance. Talking head shifted from drop the gavel to, “this team is really scary.”

I'm no lawyer nor do I play one on TV, but I think LSU would have a good basis for a collusion and defamation suit against the SEC.

Paul and his 5 million in corporate funding agree.

Their lawsuit was a pressure tool. What they claim is not true and so doomed to fail. The leverage they employed to keep us from rostering these players included the Clemptson letter and the CFP letter as well.
However, it was enough to keep us from rostering them on week one. Smart I think, now they will have to move forward with only a false accusation. They know if they drop the case now that won't hold. So look for that threat to remain until motions are filed.
If they attempt to damage the university based on these specious accusations it will be Katy please bar the door on expensive damages. Either way the SEC commissioners office will be exposed for doing this. I say get your popcorn.
