You have Bama Ole Miss and Texas pushing hard to bring LSU down a notch. They see the writing on the wall. Bama is completely done until rules are rewritten. Pawl even said this very thing. Texas is Texas they want to be the attention whore in everything and they aren’t even a talking point right now either a Manning as their qb. Ole Miss is butthurt but has zero clout in the SEC and is too dumb to even realize it. So Pawl is just repeating Bama prayers. Nothing to see here move along

Let them do it. They will be the idiots that break up the conference withbad faith and then get sued. The law will fix these things I think, but we will already be in the next super conference probably excluding a lot of colleges which kind of needs to happen.
Playoffs and nil started it all. Pandora box was opened and can’t be closed now. These guys at the conference level need to get rules fixed and completely defined. Any and all rule changes has to be granted in an extremely tight time line based on recruiting windows, semester enrollments and playoffs/post season.
The antiquated system needs to be fixed bc it was emplaced by rules and timelines that are no longer valid. frick these crooked pos rules for thee not for me pick and choosing shite to enforce

Can someone please tell us exactly what LSU has done that the presidents of every school in the SEC would vote to remove LSU for?
LSU, as far as I know, has broken zero rules...am I incorrect?
If I am, then what is the basis for removal? Not that I care, because personally, I am sick and tired of the SEC and the NCAA's treament of LSU over the past 2 decades.
I would be just fine with LSU joining ND and becoming the two biggest independent schools in college sports. LSU would be a lock every year to be in the playoffs and not have to navigate the SEC corruption from Refs to Sankey any longer.

That old fool sounds like the pettiest motherfricker on the planet. They absolutely would not do this. If they tried with no violation on record and a standing injunction preventing them from issuing any penalties related to the current case, LSU would be able to sue for collusion and antitrust and absolutely frick the conference into oblivion in court.
The SEC presidents know they would be personally named in such a suit and that they would never survive the discovery the way they’ve been acting over this situation. All of the media leaks, threats and collusion would be exposed. The more time that passes, the more they will come to their senses and realize this would be a disastrous move for them.
The next time Finebaum threatens this bullshite, Rousse should have someone like Nakos leak that “sources inside the LSU athletic department” have said they will immediately respond to any attempt to remove LSU from the SEC with a federal suit that they will take to trial and fight to the Supreme Court, if necessary.
