Most are pussy's!!! When I still lived n Baton Rouge I had season tickets for 17 years. We stayed till the bitter end even when we were losing! Snow flakes gonna be snow flakes!
I've driven 16 hours round trip to be at every home game the past 3 years. I stayed until the end for the Troy game. However, it's clear to see that improvements need to be made. If the experience doesn't matter, then why not just build a concrete box with bleachers? Why spend billions building new stadiums across the country. Why do you think LSU should somehow be immune to enhancing the gameday experience while our SEC West Competition is improving their stadiums? Not sure how that makes one a "pussy".

No, post game traffic
every year since 2003 the post game traffic has gotten worse along with the abysmal parking situation(s).
in 2000 when I still lived in Metairie, we stayed till the end of every game and it took us about an hour and 45 mins to get out and get home..
now living in BR, if we stay till the end it takes 2 hours to get home IN BR.
I am more likely to stay to the end for a day game than a night game. day game has less people on campus - better parking and less traffic
got nothing to do with alcohol.... or cell reception.

The fan base is totally different now than it was back in the 60's 70's and 80's.

My sister lived in the Cottages, and it took damn near two hours to get there because BR's finest won't let anyone go down Ben Hur Road. Contraflow is a fricking unmitigated disaster.

Alcohol is absolutely a huge factor. Sitting in the heat while screaming and trying to fight an on-setting hangover isn't fun for anyone. Why are people surprised that students during a blow out game would rather walk to bars in Tigerland and watch the remainder on a TV?

It’s those damn gate nazis.
Booze use to be so easy to sneak into the student section.
Now 5 of 65 cops might put you against the wall and search you.

Traffic is part of the issue for sure.

Why people miss the game to go get a chili cheese dog when you have 358 other days in the year to eat chili cheese dogs is beyond me.

There is a long list of why people leave TS early.
Not the least of which is our fans suck.

Who forces you to eat them? You can't go a couple of hours without stuffing your face?
News flash, resident board dumbfrick, there are a lot of people out there who enjoy eating sporting event concessions because they can’t get them anywhere else. I eat relatively healthy and work out 5 days a week and one of my top 3 favorite things about football games is getting hammered and eating about 2,000 calories in nachos, burgers, hot dogs, peanuts, etc.
Who are you to decide what sub-par aspects of our football program are acceptable? The concessions are an absolute abomination to anyone who actually enjoys that aspect of sports, and yes, people generally don’t want to sit in a hot arse stadium in August for 5 hours without food or water because Aramark is too fricking incompetent to properly do their only job. Anyone who isn’t a complete braindead moron can see that and should know that fixing concessions would mean more asses in seats for a longer period of time

i see this alot on this board - and I have no clue what this means.
Please provide a detailed, precise definition of a "spoiled fan."
Weaker opponents, even in the SEC sometimes, we have people leaving very early. We were so good for so long, we don't appreciate every win like we used to.
Its happening to Alabama too. They have success fatigue. As a kid in the 90's I remember staying until the end of blowouts against Rice because everyone appreciated it.
Funny thing is we shouldn't take any win for granted these days. Hopefully Troy and MSU will change that mind set for our fans.

I don’t leave early because I usually only go to 2 or 3 games a year so I want to get the most out of it.
I bring in my booze so that wouldn’t be a factor for me. It’s weird to me how many people need to eat a meal at a football game.

Never understood people leaving. All the factors mentioned all have a part but at the end of the day an LSU home game only happen 6 or 7 days out of the year. Most people don’t go to all of them. Keep yo arse in your seat it looks horrible.

Last year for the Auburn game it was unbearably hot on the East side and Aramark ran out of fricking bottled water. How is that possible?

Win or lose I never leave early. I enjoy being at TS rather than home. Guess I am just lucky I have a large tailgate with plenty of food and booze. Also my seats are by a good concession stand which I never have to wait very long to get something to eat or drink.
I realize concessions are a problem in other areas of the stadium because I have experienced it when I did not sit in my usual seats.

Times change and the day of the big stadium is just about over. Too many other ways to see the games now at much less cost with much more comfort. If LSU doesn't put out teams in the top ten fighting for championships, ticket sales will plummet.

Yea...that's living proof of P.T. Barnum's theory.
That year the Tigers went 2-9, and the following season as well, tickets for home games could be had for as little as $3.00 each, for certain games!
