Pussies period or period pussies. Either way, you're clowns.

day of the big stadium is just about over.
Feel bad for LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State, and any other stadium over 93,000 capacity.

With that being said, when I go to a game I’m prepared to be there for the duration and I don’t leave unless we’re losing badly.
This is it for me. When I’m prepared to go, usually once a year now, I’m perfectly fine with it being an all day exhausting event that traffic is gonna suck when it is done. I know that going in so I’m just going to sit there until the end and there is no point in complaining because I know what I signed up for.
Watching it at the house is just much more convenient and really outside of the atmosphere of a huge game once maybe twice a year the experience is just better at the house with a group of my friends.

The gameday experience just isn’t the same for everyone. What’s great for some people, is seen as a huge inconvenience for other people.
Personally my gameday experience is always the highlight of my top 7-8 Saturday’s in a year. I get to campus before sunrise to setup tailgate, then it’s a whole day of eating, drinking, and watching football with family and friends before heading into Tiger Stadium with my brother whom I don’t hardly ever see outside of football season.
After the game we will tailgate until midnight waiting on traffic to clear. No one is in a rush because it’s a great time. Even during day games, we will stay in the parking lot for hours after the game just enjoying the day.
But like I said, while that’s a great time for me and my group, the long day might be an inconvenience to someone else.

That year the Tigers went 2-9, and the following season as well, tickets for home games could be had for as little as $3.00 each, for certain games!

The stadium is hotter now because of global warming.

The way I look at it, is it's 7 Saturdays out of the year. I'm 24 years old, Sat in the same seat since I was 6 years old and I can count on one hand the number of games I've missed/left early. I stay til the end bc what else do i have better to do on a Saturday night in the Fall? I can go to bars after or before the game. I charish my times in Tiger Stadium. Are the consession stand prices high? Hell yea they are, That's why I get my traditional Coke and Peanuts. Eat before the game people. Stop finding crap to complain about, just say how it really is. You're lazy and don't feel like moving from the couch.

That's sad considering the Tigers went 5-1 at home last year (6-1 if you count the exhibition game in Nola vs BYU).

Alcohol....
If you leave an LSU football game early because you need alcohol then you are a fricking drunk.......stay home

Here’s the problem with your statement
LSU can’t control the weather, the traffic, or the fact that every game is on TV.
LSU can control the game day experience. Change what you can control. Give people a reason to spend the time and effort. You can be immature and call people pussies and lazy, but people expect a higher level of service and experience then they ever have before. It’s the world we live in today and it isn’t changing anytime soon. Hell, converting the stadium to all chairback seats could do wonders. Venues that innovate and keep up with the times succeed. Others get left in the dust.

I've noticed a lot of gaps in ALL stadium crowds. It is a wimp nation now.

Alcohol....
I truly think if they offered alcohol in the stadium this would help fight that issue
Alot of people pound way to many drinks the last hour of their tailgate because the scaries of no beer/liquor being sold in the stadium gets to them
Posted on 7/2/18 at 1:17 pm to Crop Dusting
Too many people leave to simply explain it as alcohol related. The reasons are numerous.

People value their time. We are a nation of convenience

Put it this way, ive been attending games since 1980. Until the age of hi-def tvs, weekly telecasts, Tiger Stadium was never empty. I will say this, when they arent winning, fans simply dont show up. I'd like to know where they were during the Hallman years? For example, me and some buds would drive from Metry at 500 for a 7pm kickoff, and park 500 yards to the stadium.Lsu is like any other program. They're fair weather fans.
