The Rant Opinions - Usually Right

As much flak as the rant gets the overall opinions have a pretty good track record. Just snapshot of the last year or two. What else am I missing?
Start Harris at QB - Correct
Start Beckwith at LB - Correct
Why the hell did we hire back Peveto - Correct
Jeff Grimes was a bad hire - TBD but looking incorrect
Cam Cameron sucks as OC - TBD
Kevin Steele hire is terrible - TBD
Ed Orgeron hire is awesome - TBD but trending correct

Everyone and his fricking brother knew that Beckwith and Harris were the eventual starters. The question was when, and the rant was dead wrong on both of these.
In each case the rant thought they should be starting after the first game last year. The coaches rushed both of those guys into the starting roles. Harris was a gigantic flop. Even the coaches pushed him too hard.
I wouldn't expect the average ranter to realize it, but Beckwith was hurting LSU badly up until about mid season. When he was in (or out) we were getting gashed. He didn't know his assignments. Most ranters think players learn faster by being thrust into the lineup. The reality is that maximum learning takes place by short exposures separated by sitting the bench, which is EXACTLY what the coaches did.
The thing I'm puzzled about is why we didn't see Kwon at mlb with Debo at Kwon's spot.
But don't let me interrupt this invincibly ignorant circle jerk.

Move any backup safety or RB to LB.

Disagree with that. Miles doesn't let offseason problems get in the way with playing favorites. As soon as Jefferson's felony charge was dropped he was on the field that day and playing QB in the next game. I think this was Harris' job for a long time.

You can nitpick a few things, but there are FAR MORE examples of when the board had been right:
Should not hire Bill Clay as DC
Malveto = disaster
Pellini had a drinking problem
Crowton must be fired
Stud must be fired
And the board is often a year out in front on these things.
I don't think I've heard that Grimes was a bad hire.
