Nuss reminds me of Jarret Lee at times. He can make the big throws then turn around and make bone head throws.

Yeah, maybe. But they didn't figure out Daniels. But we had no defense.

Nuss did enough to have us up 27-7 at one point. He tried to do too much once we lost momentum.

Ha I g a running game opens up the passing game . We hv no running game! It’s true Nuss is trying to make plays out of nothing. Eventually bad things happen.

Only one man responsible for that Fiasco. It wasn't the players.
Hint! He is red faced and Fist pounding. That doesn't help.

It's hard to win when we fail both on the offense (no running game) and defense (zero preparation for a running QB) especially on the road against a good opponent.

When you have ZERO running game your quarterback basically has to be perfect the entire season for it not to catch up to you eventually.

Nuss had a horrible half of football in an otherwise good to great year so far given the circumstances. Without some serious bounces going your way or the opponents screwing up badly, this team can’t win when Nuss has horrible halves of football.

I think he does have legit weapons who we may, one day, talk about the way we talk about JJ, Chase, Malik and BTJ. They’re not there yet, but they are good enough to win games.

The real issue is that we’re on year three of essentially no running game. Jayden masked a lot of deficiencies because he’s a god tier dual threat QB. We all knew the OL and RB rooms were going to need to step up in Jayden’s absence. Eight games in we can confidently say they failed.

The bad news is Alabama is built to do what A&M did last night in the second half.

That would be to run.

I don't see this....at all. This isn't your typical bama team. They are suspect in the secondary and on the OL, and Milroe is terrible this year with any pressure.

What pressure will he have if he is executing designed runs?

It all starts upfront
Our supposedly elite OL is garbage

His footwork is beyond atrocious and he refuses to stand tall in the pocket. He doesn’t read the field well at all and he manages the game poorly at times. His deep ball is usually terrible with some exceptions.

He has a good arm, but it’s not Elway or Allen strong, so he can’t rely on it as much as he thinks he can.

Last night he was absolutely awful in the second half.

He got rattled in second half, and he lost composure.
I noticed how quickly he began bailing out of the pocket, which looked like a younger, less experienced version of himself.
Sloan contributed by his puzzling but predictable play calls.
Injury on OL didn’t help, either.

Somehow the OLine is still getting praised even though we are probably bottom 20% of the country in run blocking.

I agree with you about Sloan - way too predictable. Hope we go out this offseason and get us a good OC because Sloan/Hankton debacle at OC isn't cutting it.

He's got a rocket arm and dog shite fundamentals. He's three years in, those fundamentals should probably look a lot better than they do.

i believe if you built the right offense around Nuss

How do you go from an offense built around Daniels to an offense built around a completely different style quarterback? You don’t.

LSU should have had another portal behind Daniels and not had Nuss waiting to take over. Doomed from the start.

Nuss has shown alot of ability all things considered.

He's a "gunslinger" with terrible accuracy. One of the worst QBs in the SEC on downfield (20+ yards) passes.
