Those Dayton fans were jerk offs. They flew from Dayton to Charleston to watch Dayton play basketball. Let that sink in.....

I know this will sound insensitive.

No one forced him to take the job. He’s being paid millions of dollars to lead his team. He’s doing that very poorly.

Criticism is deserved. Poignant criticism. Harsh criticism.

But we shouldn’t be assholes or threaten the man.

My take is that he had to have some giant balls to come here with one player on the roster and the NCAA breathing fire down our necks. That is a guy I want on my team. That is a man who isn't afraid of a daunting challenge. The least we can do is give the dude a decent chance.

He doesn't have a magic wand. Give the guy a chance to do some recruiting. LSU doesn't have a bunch of basketball guys beating the door down to come here. We need to have some patience.

Stop acting like a bunch of damn Alabama fans. It's disgusting.

He’s also following a very popular coach who many felt was wrongly terminated. It’s a tough situation.

Wrongfully terminated or not, Wade was a dumbass for using his personal bank account.

McMahon deserves time to get us sorted out. Great guy. We need to be patient.

Appreciate your comments. I hate the keyboard mentality on here. Too many post things they would not say to a person's face.

He’s not paid because he and his family are nice. He’s paid to win basketball games and he’s failing to do that.

Guess that’s how you get people like Morant that have no concept of right and wrong when their coach is a nice guy.

It’s basketball if he can’t sort this out by next year he has to go no matter how nice he and his family are.

You don’t get forever to turn stuff around.

I feel bad for him considering he is a polar opposite personality compared to the prior popular coach who was winning consistently for the first time in a long time here.

He has to compete for a title next year in the sec. Basketball only takes like 7 guys to win.

Just to clarify, you do know the NCAA/IARP did not find it to be true he paid recruits to LSU out of his bank account, right?

The only payments he was found to have made was to the girlfriend of a former VCU player who was, essentially, extorting him.

It’s fine that people don’t like Wade. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But at least get the facts straight when forming that opinion

The wade haters don’t care about facts.

They just want to hate the guy based off Pat Forde lies when all he did was win here at a clip not seen since Dale Brown.

Riverside

Change your handle please. I don't want people associating Riverside with uniformed hot takes. I'm sorry in the five times the camera pans to him a game, he doesn't show you enough passion. Hopefully, he'll throw a chair soon and that way you'll know he cares.

It amazes me how people love to break down what they don't know. Time will tell what he is or isn't. Most level headed people will wait until he can get a few classes in and build his own roster. And don't come back with this portal nonsense. Some of you think the portal is a magic fountain where you just pull amazing players from. Half of the players in the portal couldn't hack it where they were. Another large portion of them are moving up from a small school to play in a more competitive conference and when they get there, their skills don't always translate. But keep on expecting immediate results and you'll keep on being pissed off and disappointed

I don’t think anyone actually hates McMahon. He was set up for failure given the situation he took over. We’d all love to see him succeed, but it just won’t happen. Not anytime soon anyway

Nice people can still deserve to lose their jobs for underperforming. Look at Sam Pittman.

I hate it, but I’ve become apathetic to the whole situation. We all want success for McMahon, I just don’t think he’s the guy that can deliver it. Will happily eat my words if surprise the conference

Nice guy clean coaches don’t win in this era of college basketball.

I’d love McMahon to prove me wrong but I just don’t see it.

So pointing out coaching deficiencies and making comparisons to the prior staff’s success makes me an a-hole? That’s pretty thin skin for a guy that makes $2.6 / year.

Seems like a nice guy. Doesn’t mean he’s succeeding in what he was hired to do.

ETA. Only a weak person is bothered this much by someone having a different opinion than them.
