McM is just a bad fit at LSU. It sucks because he does seem like a decent man. He should never have been hired but Woodward was in a jam after Tate forced Wade out. I feel bad for McM but he needs to go. Maybe another school will offer him a job and both sides can part ways amicably like we did with Trent Johnson.

Listen I have no idea how he ends up doing here the next season and a half, but I’m a now a fan. More importantly it’s just great to know there are great people still out in this world that were raised right. And that is the McMahon family. They are A+ in my book.

His brother is cool as shite and just that the whole family understands how passionate LSU fans are and it shocked them a bit. I’m like shite y’all have no idea. No one will build you up quicker and tear you down quicker than LSU. I cannot emphasize enough how awesome that whole family is. Made me feel like an absolute piece of shite for talking the shite I do online. A great family and so self aware.

That's awesome

I get it. Point I’m just trying to make is that we all bitch and moan behind a keyboard and when you finally meet someone in the shite, it changes your perspective a little.

I think it’s very weird that his whole family has followed him down to Baton Rouge and now travels everywhere with him. Good to have that support system I guess. Also tell Ron Mexico hello for me!

I just laugh at the people who have decided he’s not a good coach after 1 year. The dweebs on here are pathetic. I can criticize some of the decisions he makes but I am still willing to give him 3 years to show me what he can do. This ain’t football or baseball.

In bball you can turn a program around in a year now with the NIL + portal.

We must be following different LSU MBB teams—I haven’t seen anything from McM since he came to LSU to indicate that he’s a “good” coach or a “passionate” coach.

Pull Wade's wang out of your mouth and you might see it differently

You still have Jones in yours, right?

It is amazing that the anti-Wade crowds infatuation with oral sex. Comes across kind of odd.

ETA. What exactly have you seen that would indicate he’s a good coach? In any aspect, recruiting, player development, roster management, in-game coaching, etc.

I hated that they fired Wade. But fanbase has to move on. I thought coach Mac was a great hire at the time…………the basketball program in general got dealt about as shitty a hand as could be possible upon Wade’s exit. At some point he does have to start turning this around though. We have to see some sort of improvement. I think he will get there eventually, hope so at least.

But the father can't seem to coach water out of a boot with instructions on the heel.

Had a brief conversation with CMM at the Pistol Pete statue unveiling. He's a great guy. I want him to succeed. I'm quite critical of him because we're losing games, but he's a good person and I want him to succeed.

Good news for him is that he’ll be paid nicely over the next 5.5 years, whether he’s coaching or not.

Glad to hear he’s a good guy, but that doesn’t change my analysis of his management of the basketball program.

It’s a business at the end of the day, being a good guy doesn’t really win the day. Hell, Rick Pitino is still coaching that should tell you all you need to know.
