The last time a home team hasn’t rushed the field after beating Bama was LSU 2010.

If LSU were to win in convincing fashion, do you expect fans to still rush or will they stay off the field?

Why would we rush the field if we are favored to win against a 2 loss team?

Rush the field.

There are a lot of bozos who look for ANY reason to rush the field. Hell, LSU fans rushed the field in 2000 when LSU beat a 3-5 Alabama team.

We shouldn’t, but it likely still happens and hand Bama over the $500k check Kentucky cut to us.

It was the first win against Alabama in Tiger Stadium since 1969 bozo.

Anyone that is of the players age or younger, I’m ok with them rushing the field.

Any adult rushing the field, unless your child is out there, needs to take a look at their life.

Doubt we rush the field unless we win as time runs out again

The rush the field police on this board like you can’t be excited and have some fun after a win is the lamest message board schtick.

Because it’ll be a majority of students who have only really seen LSU beat Alabama twice

This isn’t hard

Kiffins first year? A win? Yeah, our kids are storming. They haven't slept since Halloween at that point

If LSU walks it off at the end, my arse is on the field. Will also be easier to exit from my seats.

I simply asked if LSU is up by two scores with game in hand, do you get the same result?

Rushing the field used to be on special occasions like finally beating a rival after a long period of time or something.

Now people do it just to do it. It’s def lost its luster and kids act like jackasses going after opposing players and coaches.

Still against a bad Alabama team. The fact is a subset of LSU fans were looking for any reason to rush the field. They had already done it twice that season in the wins vs. Tennessee and Mississippi St. Three years later the fanbase had kind of matured and didn't rush the field vs. Georgia in 2003.

Personally, I don't have an issue with fans rushing the field. Go have fun. But it is funny to see a portion of the fanbase simultaneously feel LSU is one of the "bluebloods" of college football, yet rush the field like LSU is a second tier program anytime LSU beats a remotely good opponent at home.
