Accomodating the fan base is priority #245. Not saying I won't go. Just saying that they're building up ill will.

I'm sure ticket and merchandising sales will suffer.

Not in this case.

Request for season tickets is at an all-time high and merchandising sales are through the roof.

There is really no "ill will" outside of a couple of blowhards on this board. And there are thousands of people waiting to stand in their place if they decide to stop supporting the program.

It will not be like at night but hopefully it will still have a little magic. I have two family members coming to the game...one from Utah and one from Oregon. Hope they have fun.

And lots of folks bought crappy real estate for obscene prices at the top of the market.

You don't frick with your fan base for the last little bit of profit just because you can since times are robust. They won't always be robust.

And in terms of the "blowhard" comment--GFY.

Does your dumb arse even understand how little say LSU actually has in all of this? I'm guessing you don't have a fricking clue at all.

nycajun...

Either you're 19 or a moron. They're not messing with anyone, this is the SEC television contract, jesus calm down.

And the game in Dallas was fine, sorry there's only 6 games a year. There is more to life than missing one football game.

Can your dumb arse read the English language? In my original post, I referenced the Oregon game as a decision made by LSU, which it was. I referenced the morning game as the result of the conference's greed in negotiating with the networks, which it is.

I thought every SEC team is obligated to play a conference home game in that time slot at a minimum of once every two seasons.

Because we are obligated and get that SEC contract money, we can't complain. We haven't had many of these.
