Guessing you didn't see the breakdown of Hilton's constant need to jump for passes all season.

No telling how many chances he got before catching that heat in the Florida game.

I mean I just don’t understand why you have a problem with what you quoted.

Kelly needs to focus 100% on winning the SEC and making real noise in the playoffs.

I hate BK but I hate the NYT more.

Either way, whatever heat he is getting is warranted at this point. 10M a year and the program is in a spiral currently.

I honeslty dont give shite about another program's shortcomings. Using those to feel good or excuse our shortcomings is "loser logic".

There is a bit of truth to this, but many of you also seem to be judging BK vs some perfect standard which doesn't actually exist.

He has to be judged vs his peers.

“You can’t be late for meetings. You’ve got to take your vitamins every day. You have to do a wellness check-in app on your phone every day, and for (some of) these guys it’s a foreign language to them,” the former staffer said.

Not being late for meetings and showing up to check ins to make sure you are in the best shape possible is a “foreign language” to our players. The implication being that being a competent human is too difficult for our guys to understand.

It was also in context of things that Kelly needs to adjust his culture and expectations on.

Much of the other stuff I actually agree with but this was dumb.

I think the perception is he left ND to come to LSU so he could win a natty. Like he thought it might be easier here since two retards won one. Instead he’s gone downhill since he got here from a record standpoint this year. Then he had a historically bad defense with a Heismann winning QB. Multiple commentators have asked how he didn’t win a natty last year after watching JD in the NFL.

Plus he’s an a-hole in general. Which is fine but if you’re gonna be an a-hole you better be really good. Like Saban. He deserves the criticism for his shitty coordinator hires and sloppy play on the field. Having said that I hope he hires a good OC and sp teams coach and wins a natty next year.

Not saying I’m a huge BK fan but….
Where’s all the articles about Deboer?
Kiffin? Elko?
Bad press seems to surround LSU.

If what we have seen is the result of his focus, LSU is screwed.

I mean apparently it is to some of them. It’s why Denver Harris was basically kicked off the team. Same with Dwight McGlothern. We just had 4th and 5th year players suspended for the 10th game of the season for these things.

Do you think having accountability is something that Kelly should change?

And?

I’m glad he’s a former staffer if he thinks doing the little things right is a concept too difficult for our guys to understand.

Also the writer uses discretion on which statements they use to set the narrative they want

The NYT article does not say much. Main criticism is that BK is aloof and doesn’t talk to his players. BK is a control freak like most coaches. The article makes no mention of past cover ups during the time of O and Les. Overall a light article.

My guess: Notre Dame is held highly in the media. It’s the big Catholic school. They couldn’t believe someone would leave there to go coach LSU and paint ND bad in the media.

Bingo.

Yeah, I keep seeing comments like "LSU should be in a 12 team playoff every year".

So what the frick does that mean, every time we miss you fire the coach?

We have the dumbest football fans in the SEC.
