This is how this works and it doesn’t matter what school you are talking about or if the coach is fired or stays, who the coach is or the record of the team.
Many of the best players will leave because they are eligible for the NFL draft. Some of the best players will leave because another school will offer them more money. Some of the best players will stay put. The program will replace those that left with incoming freshmen or through the portal by offering more money than anyone else.

There is definitely talent Chalky. But just look at the roster. We lose 14-17 starters. It’s a rebuild. And you have to lean in to NIL again.
