Sankey went to Texas behind the scenes and gave Texas an out. That is why Sark came out and said it wasn't for the new rule, it had something to do with some other NCAA rule. That is absolute horseshite and you will never be told the real reason, because there wasn't another reason. They just let Texas off, because if you aren't LSU, they look the other way. That is why LSU can and will prove Collusion if it comes down to it, and not only is the SEC cooked, so will the member schools. I honestly and torn about it, because LSU is never going to be treated fairly in the SEC, and they could damn near own the SEC in a lawsuit.

They also chose to ignore the fact that Golding and Beamer also recruited these players (unless Wright is lying). This is about getting rid of Kiffin.

In a lawsuit they can't ignore it though, and they know it, and LSU knows it.

The SEC has drawn the line at signing a NFL player contract which Harris and Wright did. Hutson did not. I sincerely believe they chose that line because it isolated Kiffin from the other coaches. They also chose to ignore the fact that Golding and Beamer also recruited these players (unless Wright is lying). This is about getting rid of Kiffin.

No idea why you’re getting downvoted. This is clear as day. It’s bullshite and beyond disingenuous but they’ve made this distinction abundantly clear from the start by their actions.

This is why I’m ultimately not worried. Remember there’s also credible reporting from Nakos that several SEC schools recruited this same pool of players. As LSU would fight this, ultimately if it went through a federal court, a judge would be forced to kick multiple schools out of the conference if they decided the crime was recruiting pro players. They would either be forced to drop it, or kick several schools out. They eventually run out of rope in this effort to isolate LSU.

Was it one of the guys that "signed an NFL contract" ? That seems to be the kicker in all this is if they signed a piece of paper.

If the situation is identical, I wonder if LSU’s attorney can argue equal protection at that point?
