I might be drinking too much kool aid but I am starting to get that 2011 confident feeling about this team. And this year we have a big time QB and offense. Guess I’ll find out this weekend

Maybe I've just missed it?

Other than the ridiculously mentally handicapped "DBU" troll, what has Texas done to fuel this? Fan trash talk doesn't mean shite.

I wish our guys would just prepare for the game and then let their on field play do the talking. Gonna be a bad look if our guys talk shite and then struggle to put Texas away...

Not a huge fan of trash talk but if they back it up I’m ok with it.

Once you talk you have to deliver. No way around it.

They actually printed shirts. I can imagine why LSU’s DBs are agitated. Game on gents

Hate to say it but if you need the other team to talk shite to get you 100% motivated in THIS game then there's something wrong with you. the game itself should be plenty enough to get you hyped

I love the confidence.

Make it loud and clear what we are about to do.

The DBU shirts would be considered the locker room material in this case, not Delpit and Vincent's response so...

Locker room material is overrated IMO. Does anyone thing that Texas would be less motivated? I feel like them playing a potential top 5 team would be motivating enough.

Dude, read the entire story about Chassion. He didn't state anything bad about Elinger. Jezz
All, he stated was that Sam was a lot better with his legs back in high school than his arm when he played against him.

Talk it cheap, but man it does drive up the hype and intensity a bit. Love it.

Do today's ball players require this in order to get up for a big game? We're playing TX, a top 10 team, at Austin, the marquee game of the week, nationally televised and Game Day's gonna be there. Why is social media needed to get pumped up for the game?

Well be that as it may, why would you want to help your opponent get to 100% if they otherwise might not get there without the comments? Seems like the way to go is to keep the talk bland then kick their teeth in on Saturday.
