From the ND Board:
quote:

If we would’ve done our job and beaten Marshall and Stanford, we’d have a very good shot at the playoffs.
Here’s your problem over there. ND thinks even if they’re not very good the media will bolster them enough to get them in the playoffs, if only they can just sneak through their shitty schedule. BK was tired of playing that game.

Nah. Had they come into the SEC and not jocked that Bama dick, had a lot more self awareness and acted like they've never been there, sure. But they made us their immediate rival and tried way too hard.

I only feel sorry for their players.

It's amazing that LSU routinely whips A&M's arse, wins Championships, and can rebuild a team in a year but you are amused by some silly crap like that. Sounds a little like you are envious and can't admit A&M's weaknesses.

dixichkn said: How the hell can LSU win the West, with 2 weeks left in the season, no less……….without even being a good team? West is BAAAAAAD this year y'all. It was right there for the taking. And naturally, we Aggied it up…..

LSU played a Bowl Game with 38 scholarship players and hslf a coaching staff. Brian Kelly came in and had a 15 man class that was absolutely loaded with talent. He hit the portal and brought in 16 players from around the country, many of whom were Louisiana kids who jumped at the chance to come home and play at LSU.

LSU is 8-2 and has beaten State, Auburn, Florida, blown out Ole Miss, and beat Bama in one of the best games of the year, then went to Arkansas and beat them after a very physical and emotional win over Bama. LSU is going to have a Top 5 class and all this in Brian Kelly's 1st year at LSU.

Like it or not, A&M is not on LSU's level and hasn't been for a very long time if ever. In the last 20 years LSU has won 7 SEC West Championships, won 5 SEC Championships, played in 4 National Championship Games, and won 3 National Championships. Nationally that is second only to Alabama yet some want to criticize their success instead of trying to emulate it.

At least one ag gets it

This poster forgot critical point; A&M is last in SEC-W

On the bright side, they’ve got the same number of conference wins as Vandy.

Them not realizing this upon their move to the SEC was their first mistake and they never recovered from it.

Their biggest mistake was joining the SEC. They’ve gotten more irrelevant as each year passes instead of improving their sports profile.

Turned that episode into millions like Malzone & Cam. Coach O & Burreaux.

You do understand that there are many teams who are dying to do that if there's a magic formula for it? One title for throwing away a couple of years and a few millions?!
Aggies will do it in a heartbeat. They will "buy" a title if it's possible. ??

This is almost impossible. Service academy football running 98% of the time, they have a hard time coming back from anything above an 8 point lead. Just not built for hurry-up. I wish Navy had pulled it off
