Les had a pretty similar record from 2012-2014 and that was the beginning of the end for him.

A west championship by beating Bama is great. But we also got skull dragged at home by the worst Bama team since 2007. Heisman winner is great but we also wasted three of the brightest you stars in the NFL by not being able to field a top 50 defense. TOP FIFTY!!!

All this to say, next year is kinda make or break. At the end of that similar stretch Miles went 9-3 one more time and should have been fire. Four games into the next season he was. But we knew it was the end when he got carried off the field against A&M the year before.

Cause they weren’t mediocre. Joe’s 2018 year was overall the second best year an LSU QB had ever had at that point.

Jayden’s 2022 was again probably only second to Joe 2019.

100% both made huge very visible leaps in year 2. But they were’t mediocre before
