No, but has this team been feted by the national media for three weeks leading up to a big game? No, they haven't. We will ALL see, for the first time, how this team responds to this level of attention.

No he's been on this board being as negative as possible. I think it's a Bama fan.

The two weeks started Saturday. Does anyone know if Joe is back in BR yet doing what Joe does to start getting ready for the next game? Seems like this should be over by now.

I had a little heartburn with the politicians and lobbyists being there. Kinda weird IMO.

he got back to BR today/this morning.

there are obligations that you need to tend to as a heisman winner, including the heisman gala/dinner last night where joe was being celebrated there, and was super cordial and loose with everyone in attendance, i'm told.

the work starts now.

they have a little under 2 weeks to prepare while the analysts have likely been knee deep in film and prep since last weekend.

This comes with the territory. You can't beg for people to respect the program, then complain when they respect the program. This is part of handling success.

C'mon guys. You're acting like it's the first time Joe Burrow has won the Heisman... He will be fine and drop 400 yds on OU.

Are we talking about the same guy who didn't want a new phone so he could concentrate on the SEC championship game? I'm pretty sure he's already laser focused. Wouldn't surprise me if he was watching film on the flights he's been on this past week.

the analysts and brady likely already have a binder/package for him to look at that they've worked on since UGA.

it will be okay, guys.

Not worried about the offense.

But Aranda better be in the massive film room we have breaking down every single fricking play from Oklahoma’s, Clemson’s, and Ohio State’s season and previous seasons as well.

Last week was set aside for the circus. Today is tell the truth Monday and back to the grind. Look for a lot less of Joe and everyone else from here until the 'ship.

It’s a huge distraction and does nothing to further anything other than one’s ego. The recognition is nice and well deserved but gotta draw a line on recognition and celebration.

I think Burrow is grounded enough to stay on track but it wouldn’t hurt to have coaches circle the wagons a bit

This is part and parcel of winning the Heisman. The Heisman cures, if you will.

Considering for 10 of the 13 games he played this season he only had 6 days to prepare for the teams they would play next he is ahead of schedule already.

The entire team was off last week. You are only allowed 15 official practices anyway. This week I’m sure will be a lot of self scouting stuff and then towards the end of the week and next week you start your normal game prep.

Saw that love the attitude! Each big win ended with “not done yet”.

They’ll be fine. Besides, what is there to game plan for? OU will play a different defense than they’ve played all year. Everyone does against LSU. Go out there and execute the way you know how.

It's great exposure for LSU football and the university.
