Awesome for LSU pitching.

And wow, only 3 SEC can make Omaha? Go Coastal. Hopefully it's 2.

Unless I'm missing somebody.

That's weird that Arkansas and Tennessee have to travel to the Eugene Super Regional to play, one would have assumed it was in Fayetteville

Do we think this means LSU will play the Bracket 2 schedule if they make it to Omaha?

We would play the Tennessee Arkansas winner in Game 1. Other side of our bracket would be UTSA/UCLA winner and Murray State/Duke winner who would play each other in Omaha.

So the other half of our bracket is relatively “weak” (by historical standards, but that really doesn’t matter once you get there), but we’d likely have to beat the UT/Arky winner twice to get to the championship series. Maybe 3 times if we lose Game 1 and have to come back through the loser’s bracket.

Like any tournament, winning Game 1 is going to be absolutely crucial. Loooooooong way to go before we need to start worrying about that, though.

Likely. At least the past 2 years, teams that had Saturday supers played Satuday (Bracket 2) in Omaha.

Yea I still look at it as the top 8 are the national seeds and 9 thru 16 are just host teams

That's the downside of having a successful season and hosting a superregional second week of June. It'll be hot, but maybe not as hot as last year's football game on Sept 21.

I’m ready to embrace the heat. The Box is gonna be shoulder to shoulder packed. It’s better than dodging rain showers all day.
