I noticed they recently put these white marks on the roads in my neighborhood. I've always been told that is for the newspaper to know who subscribes and who doesn't. Does anyone know if this is true or just myth? If it's not true, what could they be used for?

I recently received a speeding ticking in Livingston Parish by a deputy for the Sheriff's department.
I've never received a ticket in a long time, and never in that parish.
Is there anything I can do or contact to do a driving class or anything to make sure the ticket does not go on my record? Thanks for any help.

Just wait until LSU gets back to Omaha. Then you will see a bunch of tailgating. LSU fans WILL find places to tailgate around the stadium. Then everyone else will follow.

Don't put crappy teams with crappy fan bases in the BCS. If you put teams with fans that will travel, no problem. Look at Ohio State. They have been in BCS bowl games countless times. They still show up and pack the stadium no matter what. If you fill the BCS with teams and fan bases like that, you don't have a problem.

They can play up the story line of two undefeated teams and play up the discussion of should one of the non-AQ teams get to the national championship.
LSU and Bama each have one loss and Auburn is in control of the SEC West at this time. The LSU-Saban story has already been played out enough.

1987 we were 7-0-1. We tied the fourth game of the year with Ohio State. Don't know if that truly counts as starting "7-0"

Students don't go to LSU to watch basketball games. They come for football & baseball. Just how it is. Sorry. Don't like it, pull for Kentucky.

I was at the game and didn't know this occurred. I would like to see it also.
The speech was staged. LSU players watched a motivational video when they arrived on the busses, then when ESPN cameras showed up they got on the bus and PM had to give a speech for the cameras.
