That deserves to get Yeskie fired. He’s been solid for us in a couple different seasons, but it’s almost impossible to be that bad. Jay needs to give Yeskie a pink slip, and go nuclear in the portal.

I agree. As I sat in the box yesterday it became clear to me that Yeskie needs to go after what his group produced this year. Much like Matt House getting canned in 2023 after having a solid 2022. Someone has to be accountable for having the worst unit in the league.

I don’t see how you can compare him to House when he’s had so much success as a pitching coach. House was going from linebacker coach in the NFL to DC right? I never liked the idea of that because he wasn’t proven at the specialty.

Yeskie has been to Omaha several times as a pitching coach.

I don’t know. I think he can have a pass for one horrible season given they just won a Natty with him last season.

I know Yeski developer guys and has all these accolades but I’m not sure how he could have done a worse job this year if he tried to be worse.

Feel like you can’t just run this back and the offense did deliver some great performances

Jay has had a new pitching coach almost every year he has been at LSU. I 100% believe pitch selection and philosophy are part of the program and if it's bad next year he has to go. I am not sure Jay and Yeskie are not looking for the same type of pitcher I would be looking for. My nephew currently plays for the Tarheels and he told me basically their entire pitching staff is high school kids that LSU would never look at but they develop kids and have the best staff in the country. They freaking can throw strikes

Quit being argumentative and accept the fact this pitching staff is absolute trash. You always want to try and assert dominance on an internet message board. Get a life you homo

You dumbasses don’t consider EVERYTHING like extra pitches thrown due to passed balls and errors.

Or there were circumstances during the season like injuries and pitch count limitations.

This isn’t black and white like many on here are claiming it to be.
