Agree - Conference championship games are useless in today’s system. Have the 9-16 teams play in (round1) to settle all (some of…) the “who’s the better team” hoopla, then have your 12 teams play in current playoff format. You’d still have 4 games of revenue to replace the Conf Champ revenue.
There are so many non-coaching positions that surely he can be valuable in one of those, or in Athletic Dept somewhere

I thought it went better than expected overall. We were in it almost the whole game, and if the refs and our legit penalties and drops hadn’t been ridiculous, we could have actually pulled it out. Wasn’t thinking that going in.

I wouldn’t want him as head coach (since he’s said he doesn’t want to coach in this NIL environment and we need someone all in for that), but if he wants to consult on the coaching hire or consult in some capacity afterward, or if he wants to be AD, I’d be for sure interested
Can Republicans eliminate the filibuster now, and put in back in place later? While have majority, use it, then just in case, reverse it?
I’d love to know how the coordinators and assistant coaches feel about all this
Inability to hire at least competently good coordinators at all 3 positions at the same time, and unwillingness to make a change to fix or even address those issues until end of season.
Yes - if Scott has anything at all to do with the football hire, he needs a very very short leash. He’s 0 for 2 in his last two football hires, and both schools had to contend with huge buyouts. ( I am, however, very grateful for the Jay Johnson hire!)
If Bk goes and you could choose which staff to keep, who would you keep? Baker? Frank?
There should be some tie to results, either in the buyout or the pay scale/duration. Real jobs (not politics or coaches) require some degree of competence. Most employees have to perform to at least some minimum standards to keep their job and get paid. Player contracts should have the same.
I think the difference is between those who see the government as a huge wealthy entity that should help everyone, and those who see the government as an entity with my/taxpayer money and a responsibility to use it wisely and legally.
But yes, laws are laws! Either they should be enforced or changed - not ignored!!

As long as the adopter pays all past expenses his adoptee got from the government (public education, medical etc - $xx,xxx per year for number of years here illegally), plus covers all those expenses going forward.
Someone should lay out what the Democrats are asking and give a rebuttal in a clear, concise message - Republicans are typically awful at doing that. Dems say “we want to preserve affordable healthcare”; Republicans say “clean spending bill” - ??? Do they not have PR people?
Why hasn’t this always been a requirement? I’m shocked at the number of people getting these benefits, and claiming their kids are going to go hungry without them. Based on the ones I’ve seen complaining, can’t speak for their kids but they themselves clearly aren’t going hungry.
Exactly - the principal says they foster understanding, empathy etc - kinda hard to believe that!!
How do you prevent rampant unwanted children like w welfare babies? Honest question.
Don’t bring them to US soil - there will be thousands of lawyers lined up to tell them what to say etc
It’s horrifying, and I know very little about it - it should absolutely make the news here and everywhere else
Did she just basically admit she hires illegals in her construction company so she doesn’t have to pay minimum wage…??
