Ok! LSU is supposedly stacked at WR and has a severe shortage of DB's. So the Great and Powerful O moves a much needed DB, who was recruited as a DB, to WR. That explanation might be newsworthy.

Again, there is a difference between safety and CB.
We have a ton of safeties.
Secondly O ISNT MOVING THIS KID. Stevens has been able to choose his position from the beginning. HE CHOOSES WHAT POSITION HE PLAYS.

Serious question. Who would you have him replace at Safety? Battle or Delpit? There are MANY reasons to bash O, but isn't it reasonable to think Aranda has full control of the defense? And if Aranda doesn't think Stevens should be starting over the other safeties why is that O's fault?
I know the recruiting analysis says otherwise, but maybe Delpit and Harris are better. I mean, HOLY shite, we have a coach strictly for Safeties. I would hope the brain trust could figure out the best guys for that spot.

LSU needs CBs not safeties. Stevens isn't likely to get much playing time at safety either
