Regardless, he'd be one injury away from starting at Safety. He should be getting reps there instead of just another receiver IMO of course.. and many who have seen him play always said he projected best at Safety.

This was already posted in the thread.

Has everyone forgotten that Brennan has a rapport with Stevens?

quote:

JaCoby Stevens didn’t get to chase down passes from Brennan. Instead, he was catching them.

The 5-star safety worked out as a wide receiver for the Under Armour game and made his presence felt through the week. During Thursday’s practice, Stevens hauled in three touchdown catches — all from Brennan — providing LSU fans with a glimpse of what may be in store next fall when a certain package of plays are designed to fit Stevens’ talents.

“He’s my new Jhamon Ausbon,” Brennan joked. “When we were in Oregon for the Elite 11, Jhamon was my go-to guy. JaCoby has taken his place. He made that big play right there in front of the pylon. I’m just excited that we’ve got four or five years to go and work together.”

I’m completely fine with move as long as we commit to it. That’s the issue here.

the fact that you think this would look better for O lets me know your level of football knowledge.

If there is no way he will see the field at safety why not give him the option to change positions or stay where at safety even if he may never see the field.

I guess with your "level of football knowledge" you think this is the wrong thing to do.

How does anyone on this board make comments like "i would transfer if I was him." You are not him and for all we know the young man is perfectly happy where he is. He is very young still and he and the coaches are probably just trying to find the best way to utilize his talent.

I don't see it that way however

have you also not grown as tired of our ignorant and football illiterate fan base as I have my good friend? They seem to believe that they are somewhat entitled also. Do you not notice that as well?
