I think we also need to realize a large portion of our fan base is getting old and the east and west sides are becoming embarrassing .
South end zone and north always show up.

They have to fix traffic. Everyone is so scared of getting to their cars and sitting in standstill for 2+ hours.
There’s only so much they can do about traffic due to location but people need to do a better job of planning where they park. We hopped on Burbank last night and barely touched the brakes.
I’ve been to every sec stadium minus mizzou and post game traffic is an issue at every one of them if you’re trying to navigate out of the heart of campus.

They made it too hard to park and leave to get home. If you don’t have a decent parking pass and want to tailgate with a family, it’s very difficult. If you are elderly, it’s very difficult. If you have a bitchy wife, it’s very difficult.
ETA: for those who remember when parking was mostly a free for all, park on the trees(the horror), the experience was much different from today.

Been that way for a while. Side liners sit on their hands and leave early. They keep the tickets in the family so people can say they went to the game.

Everyone around us In 300 (season ticket holders and younger overall) stayed until the end. I was surprised at how many people started leaving after we kicked the FG.
I’m guessing most must be gifted these seats to leave.

Look, the stadium is too big now. The prices of everything and the hassle going to and leaving the game is not worth it for a lot of people these days except for maybe the biggest of games considering everything is pretty much televised now. It was been that way for a while, but has gotten worse over the years.
The stadium still obviously got loud and Arkansas struggled mightily with crowd noise/focus. Those that are in the stadium who stay obviously still make it a fun atmosphere. You just have to lower your expectations as far as fans in the stands. Tiger Stadium is not what it once was, but winning multiple NCs tends to spoil fans. It's not unique to LSU and Tiger Stadium is still the best atmosphere out there at times like the Bama game just last year. I think having around 90,000 seats was the ideal setup (though the stadium does look cool and massive with the upper South).

Two options here:
1. Move tiger stadium away from the river
2. Move the Mississippi River.

The stadium was quite loud at some points. Sure it wasn’t the Bama game or Auburn game, or even the Florida game, but it was decent last night.
The best part was that the trash emcee wasn’t shrilling her voice down my ears the entire night.

It's 2023. Less people are going to games all together.
I agree but Bama, Oregon, ND, and other big programs were packed at the end yesterday

This x 1 billion. LSU fans love to bitch, whine and moan. We won and it was a thrilling game. I don't care who the opponent was - it's a win and a big win.
LSU fake fans are so consumed with style points and winning a certain way. Grow up, guys. It's a game and we should be proud of our guys who were on the field last night and brought home the W. Why miserable, overweight, high school educated Louisiana sports "fans" on this board feel it's their god given right to overly criticize everything sports related is beyond me.

On my phone, it looks like the stadium is packed with a lot of fans in gold shirts. When I zoomed in though, it makes me glad that they painted the seats gold.

Stadium woke up with that touchdown right before the half and stayed loud until the end of the game. There were several false starts and at least one delay of game because Arky couldn't hear anything. It was a disruptive crowd. It doesn't matter if a few thousand high dollar geezers left at half.

It’s simple. If you have a nice outdoor patio setup, it’s much more enjoyable to have friends over to drink/swim/grill for gameday than to go sit under a tent on campus then be stuck in traffic for 3 hours and need to have a DD.
And watch a game on the new OLED’s and it’s hard to want to have a shite view unless it’s a big time game where you go for the atmosphere.

This is what you get when you don’t improve the experience. - Install LED lighting system - Play better music on kickoffs - Let the band play renditions of familiar songs, etc - Give out towels or shirts There’s a ton of things that can be done to increase interest in visiting the stadium
Can’t do the things to keep fans in the seats because the other half of the Tigerdroppings crowd will then yell about it being too many changes.

There’s a ton of things that can be done to increase interest in visiting the stadium
It’s also how you get people coming to the stadium just for some half-time gimmick or t-shirt giveaway who then leave at the start of the 3rd quarter.
You may say they are doing that anyway, but you will actually increase the number of people leaving early, and take tickets away from people who would go just to cheer on the Tigers.
You got to put the focus on the team, and make it easier for people to get to and from the stadium.
More in line with what you are saying, you do need to fix the facilities. Improve the bathrooms, the vendors, nice seat backs, etc.

Its overbuilt. Never needed 110,000 seats but on rare occasions

The traffic issues are far and away biggest item to blame. Ive been to plenty of other stadiums. Traffic nowhere near as bad.
