The CBB world went through this during the winter with Alabama and Charles Bediako. He played 5 games with a TRO, then the injunction got denied in February. So CBB people are more used to it, and we're in late August and anticipation is high for CFB, which gets more attention as a sport anyway.
At the time, Alabama did get backlash about it. Not at the level of what's going on now with football because that was during the season and CFB draws more interest in general.

Probably because basketball is still months away. LSU, in theory, needs to decide in the next 9 days if they are going push things with two “pro” players who didn’t know they had a fifth year of eligibility when they declared and went undrafted. On the basketball side of things, games aren’t until November so who knows what happens with the courts and Sankey between now and then.

Because even in 2026 the media is still too woke to ever criticize the LGBTQ community

Class action and they should sue Dankey in his Individual and Corporate capacity.

1000%. ESPN just talks about 1-2 figures/teams in each sport and disregards everybody else majority of the time.

The cowboys can be 0-10 and they’d still dominate the headlines.

This board is becoming hard to read with all the soy boy whining.

The issue here is that the judge has not enjoined the SEC in this suit and this is only regarding the NCAA, which most now expect would initially get ruled against.

What is more interesting is that the two that have gone to appeal this week, the NCAA has been granted a stay on the nationwide preliminary injunction and so the NCAA portion of this isn't as much of a pushover as the lower courts keep acting.

At this point, until we see a case that involves both the NCAA and a specific conference, just ignore it as they are "old" and behind the current reality.
