The NFL is worried about Collins being questioned by BRPD even though BRPD has clearly stated that he is not a suspect. On the other hand Jameis Winston who still has a pending Civil suit for rape and various misdemeanors for theft, public disturbance, etc. is the number 1 pick in the draft.

SERIOUSLY??

Not a suspect, but he sure is acting like he has involvement. If im not guilty, im jumping on a plane 4 days ago to clear my name. I think this dosent go well.

You say "The NFL" like its one person's decision. If 32 different teams are deciding not to draft him, they probably have a good reason.

You really don't understand the difference? The Winston stuff is old and teams had plenty of time to do their homework. The Collins deal is new and no one knows what's going on.

It's a timing issue and I can't blame teams for backing off. Sucks for Collins if he had nothing to do with it.

Where Winston was found innocent.

Collins is in an ongoing murder case. Lord Jesus, is it that hard for yall to differentiate the magnitude of the two

One has issues that have been resolved and the other has potential issues, the extent of which are unknown at this point. From a business perspective you don't invest first round capital into that big of a unknown situation.

You're comparing apples to oranges.

How many people are going to ask this stupid assed shite?

They are not remotely comparable.

You can't fricking draft a guy in the MIDDLE of something like this cause you may well end up never seeing him.

Winston's issue has already been adjudicated. Sure, he might frick up again, but that is NOT the same as having a CURRENT legal issue.

I swear you frickers are morons.

I agree with most of what you are saying, but just to be fair, he still has a major legal issue.

What is really wrong with you? NFL teams have no idea what's going on with Collins. He's in the middle of a murder investigation. Winston is not. And anything that Winston did has been cleared up and NFL teams have already checked into his stuff already.

Are you serious? Let me put it to you this way. You are in the interview process with a candidate for a multi-million dollar job and news breaks he may be involved in a murder. Fact or not, you would be a complete dumbass if you put your investment down before knowing ALL the true facts and if you can't wait for him then you hire the next best candidate. It's business, not LSU fandom.

I swear to God this is quite possibly the DUMBEST post I have ever seen on this site. Congrats.

The inclusion of your "SERIOUSLY??" question at the end indicates that you truly seem to not understand the difference between the two. If so, then I really don't know what can be done for you.

Winston will frick up again. It's only a matter of time. I would not use a first round pick on him, especially when Mariota was available.

True.

I'm dumbfounded that a stellar program like Tampa would make this mistake...I'm sure this train wreck will be great to watch.
