Is MB start we are in trouble that dude is not ready
why is this getting downvoted. Brennan didn't look ready last year during the season (admittedly, very small sample), he must not have impressed the coaches during the spring, and he certainly didn't look ready during the spring game. So much so that O ran out afterwards desparately trying to find a transfer QB.

Maybe it's time for you folks to start to consider the possibility that Brennan isn't the answer for us. Yes, of course he can improve, but I'm sorry, if he can't beat out McMillan and Narcisse right now, he may never be the man for us.

Brennan and his family are good with him redshirting this year

That would be a smart move. Dude can have it all, practice, development, experience, and the starting job. No need to rush. Some of our best and most successful quarterbacks have redshirted.

You're right. Brennan's POTENTIAL is what excited O last fall. I remember O being very high on him, but he obviously was not ready because he failed to beat out Etling, who was about as mediocre as mediocre can be. No folks, I did not attack the great person Etling is, so don't start shittin on me, just making the point that he's average at best. Brennan could not beat Etling out, so I just can't imagine him overtaking Burrow. Now, IF Brennan has improved in a big way, we'll see, but it would be pretty shocking.

RIght, because he was such a low rated recruit. Has to be bad.

You people who want it to be bleak have already declared it a disaster. McMillan being named the starter couldn't make it any worse for you.

What the frick is wrong with you? People are wary of McMillan being the starter because he's attempted 2 passes in his two seasons at LSU. It has nothing to do with his recruiting ranking or the catastrophe syndrome you're imaging.

I’m all for the kid and his family doing what they think is best for the kid. But, I’m not sure if a transfer even with a guaranteed start is better than a red shirt year for more development.

Agreed. LSU has proven to be the perfect place to redshirt and develop your talent as a QB.

If McMillan starts for us all year, I think we would flirt would being winless.
He aint starting Broh-Bruh-Brim-Brah-Baw.

0-12 is fantasy land stuff. Even with JM, LSU should be able to handle Tech, SLU and Rice.

A season of 0-12 would have a silver lining though. It would 100% guarantee the needed changes. (Even 6-6 would do it)

Aramark Out. Orgeron Out. Woodward/Radakovich In. Urban fired permanently. Urban LSU HC 2019 In.

Future long term success with Championships are preferable than one 8-4/9-3 winning season in 2018 and beyond.

Many can't see that vision though and don't care. They're too busy waving the Pom Poms, cleaning off the grill and loading up on cases of beer from Wal-Mart. The only season that matters to them is the one RIGHT NOW!

Breenan has the most arm talent there. He has a super quick release and makes throws that others can’t make. LN has a stronger arm but not by much plus LN’s delivery is slower and footwork still isn’t right.

Because Brennan is redshirting and narcisse isn’t ready. It’s burrow’s job, but if he gets hurt or struggles, the redshirt comes off Brennan.

I think it's humorous that people think 2 days into camp, competition has watered it down to a two man race. The truth is that nothing could have changed by now.

If it's Burrow and McMillan, it's because it started as Burrow and McMillan.

You don’t think it’s Joe’s job right now? I have thought it’s been Joe’s job since he walked onto the campus.
