Are games between Kentucky and Vandy this boring? If it's not Ohio State murdering some team, Big 10 football is the worst.

This has always been an issue. There's basically one way into St Pete from the Tampa side and no one likes the drive. A friend of mine puts it this way: Tampa is a medium sized city that still has small city infrastructure.

It appears as though this thread is anchored. If I'm correct, will someone explain why.

Admins are probably over the soap boxing and virtue signaling.

If LSU is the only school in the SEC who has this policy in effect, I don't think it will be long before it's rescinded.

They won't. Georgia won't hold to this.

Don't buy those Winston jerseys!

Yeah, but won't it be cool to have one and years down the road people will be like "I totally forgot Winston played that one season" and you're like "don't even talk to me about football as if you know" and then you throw your beer at them?

Right next to the EA is trash thread:lol:
If everything we've seen about Bech shows during the season, these 2 are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Walker Howard coming in next year.
Mainly replying to the idea that it means something bad about the defense. We didn't see the throw so no idea about how it transpired.

4th and 27 isn't a real situation you'd find yourself in a game. They were just letting them play.
Please. Against 2nd or 3rd stringers in a non realistic game situation. Nothing to get excited for OR worried about.

They probably tried to blitz him and he went over the top.
I watch this game only for TM7 on punt returns. Was an awful first half performance by the offense that carried over to the BCSCG.

Garrett Nussmeier just keeps raising the standards throughout this fall camp. After a spring session where the early enrollee certainly looked like a player who needed some time to figure out the speed of the college game, he has far exceeded any expectations over the last few weeks.

Nussmeier went 18-of-32 for 308 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the second scrimmage to back up the excellent first scrimmage where he completed 11-of-17 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Orgeron raved about one particular play during the second scrimmage where the offense was in a 4th-and-27 situation and Nussmeier delivered on a 70-yard pass down the field.

Seeing consistency out of the true freshman quarterback was one of the areas the coaching staff wanted to see improvement and Nussmeier is delivering.

This is certainly not to suggest that Johnson is in any danger of losing the starting job. He went 11-of-19 for 125 yards and a touchdown with the first team while Nussmeier has worked primarily with the second and third teams in the scrimmages.

"He's had some big plays, Max is our starting quarterback but I have no problem that if Max goes down Garrett getting in the game," Orgeron said. "That doesn't mean Garrett can't compete for the starting position but right now I feel good that Max is our starting quarterback and Garrett's behind him."

quote:

One of the offseason issues Nussmeier needed to address was being more protective of the football and not allowing careless mistakes to ruin otherwise good drives. To correct some of the problems he endured in the spring, Nussmeier spent countless hours with offensive coordinator Jake Peetz, learning the offense front and back while also grasping better control of the protections and defensive looks

LSU QB position is in great shape. Never thought I'd live to see the day...

Hospitalizations dropped "slightly" 2 days in a row after a record setting week. Not out of the wood yet in the slightest.
