South Carolina in the mix would have been fun to watch. Very physical team that plays sound defense.

No. They don't beat lsu

Boise is ranked 31 in the sagarin ranking. Takes quality and margin of wins and losses, and weights final 3rd of season little heavier. Computer, data, un bias. They had no business being there. Watch their Wyoming game to end the yr. Yes, that 2 win Wyoming team, boise with a heroic comeback to win. It's a joke

Biggest issue is 12 is too many, and auto conf champ getting byes. Move it to 8, no bye, and final ranking is it. Make computer polls 50% of the weight

Boise had chances. That game was pretty close for a hot minute.

What game are you watching? Penn State has dominated this game.

Boise missed a 20 yard FG that would have made it a 7 point game with 5:00 left.

Most of the SEC beats Boise by 2-3 TDs. Most of the SEC beats Penn State by 10+. Boise needs to go undefeated with two top 25 wins from now on just to get in.

Now there’s an SEC homer! The Big 10 is just better this year! Oregon, Ohio State and Penn State beat every SEC team this year. Most by 10+ points.

And we'll find out shortly that the team that murked them both like a back alley stripper didn't belong either

They can be in, but seeding should be based off SOS, not a Conference Championship & record.

Indiana - 12
Boise St. -11
SMU - 10

Arizona State

Should just be those 8. And you shouldn't be looking at 1 Oregon quite possibly playing the best team in the field in the first game.

Basically, when you get 12 teams there will be some that have no business being in playoffs for a national championship. Too many; just take top eight. Once you get past that there will be blowouts.

Both teams did way more than Bama, SC and Old Miss. They earned a shot.

Bama….who lost today to make it 3 losses this year to teams that had 7-5 or worse records…deserved a playoff spot?

Bama didn’t deserve a spot. Bama finished 9-4. SC finished 9-4. LSU finished 9-4. Curious how the final rankings play out.

But the playoffs should only be 8. Yea people will still bitch about who doesn’t get in. But top 8 have a shot.

But after seeing the way the played in losing to Michigan, did Alabama deserve to be in it?
