I don’t see why the hell not. Go hit up their pro leagues and bring in title after title until the NIL shite is finally reigned in. Until then go get Hueng Soro’s relatives and bring them over here. Those baws love us

Why the hesitation on moore? Do you think his injury is more serious than reported? Jay seems to be going out of his way to say he’ll be back next year. The core of starting options of moore, schmidt, evans, and paz is a really good start. Id say maybe 1 more starting option to bring in with several relievers.

The lack of these was our main demise this year and it’s not even close.

Japan by way of the Dominican Republic and I’m all for it

Well, let's hope Jay doesn't have a 20-30 day head start every other year
Ironically, this could mean we continue to win a NC "every other year".
Then you'd have no valid complaint.

I'm just here laughing at the fact the post was edited yet still left the racist part

You could quote my entire post. I said 1-2 starters and a wipe out reliever. 1 starter if Moore is an option, 2 if he's not an option. I already feel like I explain too much on here so I apologize if you think that means I'm sleeping. I'm not sorry for wanting 1-2 more front end starters, with a big question mark on Moore.
My point was that you said you were glad Schmidt and Evans will be back. If we go out and get 1 or 2 experienced starters, at least 1 of them won’t be. We can’t expect them to stay if they likely won’t be starters.
I think Schmidt has a high upside and he did improve a lot year over year. But that’s not guaranteed and I can see bringing in a lock down starter to challenge for his spot and leaving it up to him as to how he will react to that.
Moore leaving in the draft would change this whole equation, but it doesn’t look like that’s happening. Projections are for him to be good to start next season if it was just a stress fracture.
I do not want to lose Evans. I know he struggled adapting to being a starter this year, but we’ve all seen how elite he can be. I’m for giving him the opportunity to get on track. He absolutely has the ability to be a great SEC starter.
Sheerin also showed this week that, if he can extend now that he’s put his injury in the rear view, he could also be a legit starter candidate. When he’s on, he has elite stuff.
The turnover with the pen is pretty obvious. We will lose 4 guys guaranteed. There will probably be 3 or 4 pushed out and another 1 or 2 who may leave on their own to take a bigger role elsewhere.

Pull a Will Wade and pull out kids from South America. And hire a translator

Yes, we can check that one off the list as a reason this coming year.

I’m curious as to who were the top transfers from last year that came to the SEC and panned out and actually lived up to the hype. What if Jay can’t get any top end transfers. It’s not guaranteed. You can’t have another year like this though that’s for sure. It’s not that hard to make the field of 64 in the SEC

There won’t be any excuses if next year is a dud that’s for sure. I’m expecting a big bounce back year

I guess because he's draft eligible and came here for 1 and done. While the injury almost certainly brings him back to campus, he could still choose to move on.

I'd be shocked if Sheerin came back.

If he got the opportunity to start, I think he would at least consider it. He would still have leverage and if he hit as a starter, it would definitely drive his draft stock higher and the bonus that comes with that.

Didn’t we lose something like 9 SEC games where we scored 8+ runs? Hitting started off slow but turned around. We are in the tournament if we win half of those.
