Silver lining: Jay as a 30-day head start

No Omaha or post season means he’s on it early this year and with extra money. I truly think he’s losing his mind about this season and will go ham early and often filling gaps.

First order of business. Pitchers who can throw strikes and mix it up.

Heard he has a flight to Japan scheduled. Gonna try Wade's route and load up internationally

We have the money. We can rebuild it.

Maybe Ohtani has some younger brothers.

Japanese/Chinese pitchers are legit. I’d load up on some chinks in the pitching staff if I were Jay.

I think Jay is going to drag his nuts all over the sec next year. He is a winner and this year didn’t work out and he is aware of what the issues were. I’m excited and still feel we have the best coach in college baseball.
I can’t wait to see who he gets with a full run at recruiting.

First order of business: pitchers who can just throw strikes.

Jay is the best in the game and he doesn’t like to get embarrassed. No one is more disappointed than him, he will go scorched earth next year

Is the portal open yet?
No. Players can't enter the portal until June 1.

That is a technicality. You dont win BIG by folllowing the rules.

Well, let's hope Jay doesn't have a 20-30 day head start every other year for the love of God.

I’ll take a championship every other year if it means a year like this in between

Wish list:
Pitching - 1-2 front end starters and at least 1 wipe out reliever from the portal. Cooper Moore to return.
Infield - At least 1 middle infielder and a 3B from the portal. Pipe dream of Milam returning.
Outfield - 1-2 from the portal. 2-3 if the OF draft class is gutted.
I think we need 2-3 arms and 3-4 position players that can be difference makers from day one to go with what's returning and what's coming in the recruiting class. I'm not exactly sure how the pitching shakes out but I'm glad to have Evans and Schmidt back, and hopeful for Moore. Braun, Serna, and Bide are good juice to build around on offense but the defense will need to improve, with or without the pipe dream of Milam returning. Freshman that deserve to be back and developed are Ruckert, Patrick, Paz, Ricken, and Theophilus. Let the chips fall where they may for the rest of the roster.
